You could make the argument that older cards could be supported, but realistically all developers need to draw a line as to what hardware will be supported so that they can continue to work on the latest and greatest. Their time is best spent working on thinking forward, rather than working backwards. I know I have a couple 8800s laying around someplace, but I don't expect them to be supported by anything really.

he claimed last year he didn't want a cudaminer 64bit because it was slower and i made one and proved it was faster then he released one lol

it takes MORE code to use the Compute 3.0 instructions he used.. it would have been LESS work to add support for FERMI cards.

about 2/3 months ago i compiled this guys miner for everyone here and posted it (because he didn't feel like doing it but was bragging about using it to us all on Max coin)
and i removed the whole start up info with his name etc
and i did that because he wasn't willing to compile it for ALL OF YOU reading so i did it to be nice..

and for several pages all you assholes shit down my throat and then later the big dick himself started in on me too
bitching at me about copyright shit.. which was dumb as hell all i did was compile it remove his name.
the include files showed the license details (that show most of the program was made by POOLER etc not chubner1)
and did even one of you say thanks Huh

I use to be a fan of Nvidia but this topic and all the extreme fanboysim and bragging etc has turned me off Nvidia for life i think.

One of the cgminer core devs told me the same thing before about this guy and his topic and miner too so don't even bother trying to make me out to be a Troll.
That cgminer dev said all that and i had not even said a word to the guy.. he said the same type of problems i mentioned First
then after i laughed hard on Cryptsy chat last year and told him I KNOW.. i have been through the same crap with the same guy a few times.
