If HF really has a 28nm design that is 2 to 3 times more efficient than the previous one, and if they really taped it out already, we are basically safe. When you make such a claim in a contract, you need to have already accounted for the money to pay for it, right? Or were you just hoping on more sales from the very people you screwed? If they didn't do the tapeout yet, and we raise enough to pay for it, I would at least consider it. Efficiency will be paramount in a matter of weeks and that design, if viable, could be really valuable.
