Also, I already have a hardware manufacturer that would be able to build these out, and I'm most curious if people would be willing to invest in something like this? I might consider pre-orders, but would prefer to just have raw interest & just build out units.

If you quote the price in BTC people will buy it, people are able to spend "only" half a bitcoin on a bitcoin router.
Also share videos of the prototype before acepting preorders to gain trust.
