I saw this because I design architecture for CRM system for a world compagny, and I designed a system like usuall, sent it to chinesse affiliates and they replied me:

"Why do you want several server and environments, usually, we host production environment on a single desktop and we have VM on it for QA and UAT"

I know they copy good hardware, they just don't know how to implement always-on systems with high availability relaying on something else than luck, and using good QA UAT production process...

That don't means al china is like that, but what I see in our chinese affiliates scares me Grin

I don't speak of copying/producing hardware, but system design and implementation Wink
