By MIA, do you mean absent? Not necessarily the fact that the DEV is not participating openly is a bad thing. If the community is engaged, and believes in it, then anything is possible to be reached (remember Satoshi's example... maybe, it's convenient that the dev is not known...). And, of course, there's always the possibility that the DEV is actually amongst us, helping, but anonymous Wink
