I constantly had the same issue. No matter how well I did my conf file to point to the right kernel, it always used ckolivas somehow. But always tried with Cgwatcher only, never run the stuff from cmd prompt. I am now rented out for the whole day, but suchmoon this could also help you out although you never stated your type of problem with v5.

I'm still on 13.12 drivers because that was the most stable version at the time I set up most of my rigs. I think v5 just doesn't work properly with 13.12, I get "Error -4: Enqueueing kernel onto command queue", tried it on a couple of different rigs. So I just need to do some testing, maybe a clean install of Windows or BAMT if there is one with 14.6 drivers.
