Fairness in payments will make masternodes more attractive to those running them and those looking to run them.
Potential investors will expect calculable (deterministic) returns.
I understand the gaussian distribution. My concern is it's period and the effect that has on those that do or may contribute to the strength of the network.
The network is fucked right now. It'll make more sense when it's not fucked. Spork. Enforcement OFF. Are you even paying attention? You're arguing for something that is already being done... It's just being thrown out of whack by bad actors while ENFORCEMENT == OFF. The payments will more closely reflect actual probability once the bad actors are booted.
