While I will never get those coins back, I wanted to share an update: Guy from Spondoolies looked into the situation and made a very generous offer to offset a large percentage of the loss. While I cannot reveal the exact details I can assure you that it was the kindest thing a company has ever done for me. They didn't have to do anything at all, as it was my fault for sending the coin to some scammer. But they helped me tremendously and that kind of compassion for customers is very rare. When I see how customers are treated by other companies in this market I felt my story had to be told.

I'm so overwhelmed by their kindness that I thought the community should know and I pledge to only buy Spondoolies equipment going forward.

Agreed, I've only seen that sort of thing happen once before and it does wonders for the confidence from the buyers.
