Bitmain will sell the controller board (complete with Beaglebone Black) separately. I purchased one from them.

How long did it take for them to confirm your payment and ship the board(s)?

It was pretty quick once i convinced them to stop trying to troubleshoot it and that I was happy to just pay for a new one. I got it within a week.
