I got an email from them on Sunday morning ~11.30AM Australia time (so about 21 hours ago).
If you sent the LTC in the maintenance window before the email came out they should help you recover them.
The LTC should not of vanished. It is probably just a bit of work for them to restore the old wallets.

Did you send it before or after  the email came out ?

The problem with all these crypto's is even if the other end is down or nonexistent wallet anymore, we have no way of knowing that when we send the coins Sad

It is definitely before the news that they generated new addresses and disabled the old one. The exact time is around 9 AM GMT (about 39 hours ago or 8 hours before the news broke). However, it got unconfirmed for about 13 hours and by the time it got the first confirmation on the chain, the news were already there. I guess this is why they assumed I sent it after the news broke. The TX ID showed the time when it received the first confirmation and not the time it's initiated.

The only proof I got is the Cryptsy screenshot and I also posted the problem in Litecoin subreddit about 2 hours after I sent the transaction : http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/2b4k7m/why_is_my_transactions_remains_unconfirmed_after/

There is even a zerotx link that's still there : http://ltc.blockr.io/zerotx/info/2e969c4fc1ea76f3eba02a341845e3451cdb5e4ec6f5b31c16a0b336c9ca7344

I'm assuming that BTC-E problem and the extremely long confirmation was no coincidence since I never had this problem for the past 7 months.

Thanks for your support! I do hope that they still control the wallet and if it was only a few LTCs, I won't even be bugging them but this is really a lot and definitely worth the extra work they'll put in to restore the balance from there. Moreover, my LTC deposit transactions was already sent elsewhere as seen in my old address so I assume they already have control over it even though they no longer have control of the address.

Did you have LTC deposit problem too? Did they recover your fund already?
