to be fair antminer s-3's fell short. 441 gh vs 478 gh but the watt per hash was on spot around .75 watts a hash.
if the sp30 does close to the .46-.50 watt mark and hashes at 4.8th it will not be the end of the world.
a 20 percent refund for 20 percent hash shortage does fix the issue.
The key is do they come close to the .46-.50 watt mark.
If it can't do .65 watts it would be a really big problem.
Your only telling half the story, the Bitmain Ant miner S3 did come up short at 441G, but they offered coupons and refunds for the difference in hash rate. It's not like they tried to pull a fast one. Honestly, their hash rate is spot on in my opinion. Not that I don't like Spondoolies, but I have yet to get 1.4T out of any of my non-spondoolies hosted miners, maybe 1.2T.
