Yes I was! These temps are subnormal, and Chicago isn't SUPER HOT in the summer, though it had its years.

Lol. Last time I was in Chicago was in 2005 during the record setting heatwave that was killing off all the old people. And the last time I was in the midwest, I was in Iowa during the winter of 2009-2010 during a major cold snap where the temps were plunging down below -40F. From what people were saying, it was the coldest winter they'd seen there since the 1930's. Seems like every time I travel to the middle of the country, it's during an extreme in their weather cycle.
