I am setting up a COUNTDOWN clock at AltCoinCalender. That will cut down on the "when is the launch" posts.
Will be up soon, they require email confirms and such. Takes a little time.
EDIT: Its up, but waiting for altcoincalender admin verification
https://www.altcoincalendar.info/coins/775-XCRThe clock says 9 hrs left??
Eight hours now. GreXX posted that the coins will be funded at Bter and available at 0000 UTC. Thats what the clock represents. I havent heard from Bter any different.
I don't recall quoting a time of 0000 UTC. We have no set time as we are waiting the bter confirmation that they have implemented everything and are ready for distribution. I can't guarantee when they will be ready but I know they are still indicating Sunday and are working on it.
I thought it was you, but after a 20 minute search thru this topic....... I found it!! It was Quantumtangles::::::::
I think this is good. Strong volume on one exchange is better than splitting it across multipe exchanges, at least to start with.
Well, low volume and only one exchange, this calls for trouble. Can you expect a big increase in demand on Bter after network launch? I don't think so. People who use bter have already made their purchases. And many potential dumpers are still waiting for the launch with high expectations.
Interesting differences of opinion. I think both views are correct (however paradoxical that may appear). This is because the only real distinguishing feature (between these viewpoints) is in fact the elapsed time from the point of open market launch
(00.00 UTC on 10 August 2014).
Long term, this is a great investment. But short term, there must be more sellers than buyers (because we are the only people who own shares to sell and we may be reluctant to buy more coins at what is already a higher price).
I fully intend to grab some more coins if the price plummets to IPO levels. But I do not think it will. The price just seems to keep rising.
In summary, Buyers and Sellers alike should get what they want. Sellers with OCD will make a quick profit. Long term buyers with a little more patience should make money in the medium to long term. Its all about elapsed time from launch and the vagaries of human psychology.
