I agree with you 100%. The double edged sword is that Litecoin is tied to Bitcoin, for better or for worse.
Stop with the connection propaganda. It worked well to suck up the noobs who were getting into crypto. Litecoin is not a brother/sister/orphan/silver or anything to do with bitcoin as markets are evolving.
Innovate or get left out.

Most of the people that write speculation articles like this have no in depth knowledge of the complexities of a crypto-ecosystem.
But hey, lets wait another month or two and see if it is truly decoupled. I mean I could be wrong just as much as you.
