Unfortunately, this isn't really even a scam. If you'd just put in the right numbers, the IPO actually said in not so many words that this was going to happen.

Definitely not a scam. More of a long-con I would say. If your thinking the CryptX situation is going to get any better in it's current incarnation you have quite a bit more pain to go through I'm afraid :/
