I personally don't mind if they're based elsewhere - as long as they offer US based and other servers - and have been around for a while so I know they're reliable.

Bitvps looks pretty good and it's good to hear the owner is a good guy - I just need to know they're going to be around for a while!

Pretty sure they were the first VPS to accept Bitcoin...they have been around quite a while in bitcoin terms.
