I no longer see how Karma will help spread karma. 
This has been a very expensive, disappointing and valuable learning experience for me. I've held large amounts of Karma since April (ignoring some minor trading) and didn't sell it when it was logical to do so because I believe in Karma and believed in Kosmost. My Karma represents more to me than what I'd gain from selling it now even if I were to rebuy it in the future.
Kosmost, if you're still answering questions:
1. Why did you create Karmashares LLC, spend hundreds of hours on Karma and Karmashares LLC only to decide not to follow through with whatever your original intentions were now?
2. Will you continue to work on Karma or have even you given up on it? If so what are your actual plans going forwards?
I ask these questions with the understanding that you don't want to work on Lill.com.

As you noted in the last sentence, the questions depend on the validity of "kosmost doesn't want to work on Lill.com" (to paraphrase), which of course is untrue and unfounded. Please rephrase the questions with the assumption that nothing has changed.
(btw, where do you get the idea that I don't want to work on Lill? Surely you don't think I just pulled it out of thin air?)
The primary reason given for not taking the sale to a vote is because you didn't want to (or couldn't) work on Lill full time for 6-12 months. You have already taken the project further than you wanted to. I have changed the colour of the relevant sections in the quotes below to red. I was expecting an altered offer to be announced, eg: Kosmost will oversee/manage Lill part time, or the wording on what you are required to do for Lill after the sale made more generic and/or flexible. The project needs a lot of funding and a lot of work. You aren't willing to be paid to do the work, why do it for free?

I think like kosmost stated, Lill goes far and beyond a few million bucks... i mean remember when facebook bought whatsapp. for 16 billion or something around there... well Lill or anything kosmos has backed or put any work into is worth much more then whatsapp. im not saying that this will sell for 16 billion... im just stating that I would have agreed with facebook more if they bough something like Lill.com over whats.app... this is powerful stuff
We'll need to grow our userbase and get out of 'beta' mode. As discussed, I would take it as far as beta (without Karma integration) and someone else can manage the project thereafter. Once we have that (and marketing, of course) we can begin to grow and become more valuable.
For now, it's a proof of concept that we can use for (subtantial) further growth.
As we talked about when iPOCOs were first mentioned, most Karmashares projects will not be successful. Though a small percentage of Karmashares projects may be very successful, providing a healthy return to investors.
My purpose with developing the three Karmashares projects (Lill, Wespond, and Hireplex) was to provide an example to the community of how projects can be done. We provided an outline as well as guidelines for projects. I would bring the projects to beta stage and someone else would take over the project.

While i know there is a expiration on this offer of the end of the month, I think we should hold off on any vote until we fully understand the strings attached to this offer. For example the lill team for 365 days. What and who does this mean? And what effect will it have for project development for the LLC with in those 365. As far as i know kos is the lill team so does that mean kos will be slaved to this vc for a full year?
This means myself and a lead developer (on my side) continuing work on Lill (without Karma integration), more or less full time, for 1 year.
I'm not keen on that part at all, as I would have no direct benefit.
Time to stick a fork in it, I think. I was initially quite in favor of selling, right up until I learned of the "kosmost-in-chains" provision, which, come on people, realistically renders this deal dead on arrival.

An update of this conversation regarding the potential Lill deal
Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful in my negotiations with the VC investor to get more favorable terms for us (or I should say, myself in regards to time commitment).
The deal as discussed was for the Lill team (myself and my developer) to spend a further 1 year developing the website as per the VC's vision. The offer has expired as of August 31, 2014.
Although I was able to make some headway (the possibility of reducing my term to 6 months, among other things) we were not able to come to an agreement that would satisfy us both. Due to my current and pre-existing responsibilities to both Karma and my IRL-life, I would be unabe to make such a commitment.
However, this of course does not diminish the possibility for Lill to be a major force in Karma's future. If anything this is an opportunity for us to make it happen. With your help we can do just that.
