Those programs (games, actually) are not run by casual users. I don't expect my mom to play Battlefield 3, the same way I don't expect her to have her computer on 24/7 just so she can spend some money.

You're right. None of them is my grandma. But I'm not talking about age, but about what's popular in general. These kind of games, although played by many people of different ages, are in no way a core part of our cultures.
