The "loss" is for us, many of us, who used (and always planned to use) NXT already in our NRS to buy tokens.

For the amount of TOKENS I purchased on day one, I could have purchased an additional 10% TOKENS today! Damn!!! Sad

It is a loss in NXT but not in BTC or Fiat. Investing in such volatile markets isn't without risk.
