My scammer alert alarm is sounding. Yeah, there are a few girls involved in bitcoin, but sadly most of the ones on here who go out of their way to tell everyone about their female gender are unfortunately just gearing up to try scam people.

It doesn't make sense to me.
No matter the person is a male or female, American or European or Asian or African, you should be equally cautious for the trades.
You shouldn't trust the person more just because it is a "she", and you shouldn't consider the person less trustworthy simply because it is a "she".

I am equally cautious, but there are certain criteria that immediately sets alarm bells off because they're commonly used by scammers. It's not about judging someone because they are female; it's about the same old tired tactics males use to try scam. Is it unfair that we scoff at Nigerian Princess & Nigerian lottery winners? Is it unfair and racist to state that they're likely not a Nigerian and are likely trying to pull a scam? No. Neither is it unfair to state my suspicions are aroused on this case because everything that is happening here is exactly what men who are pretending to be females say and state to make their point. I actually have more respect for women to think that they would behave this way, and it's the pathetic male scammers I am shaming here, not women.

SexyBTC is girl too.

Don't know if she still is around.

Guess not.
She wasn't as active after being accused of scamming and last logged in on August 24.

Perfect example here. Would it have been sexist and unfair for me to have called this user out? No.

Well to be fair, a username like SEXYbtc is a bit suggestive I.e. suspicious. But any girls who are using their own names (like myself) -and show an interest in how bitcoin works not just how to get them sent to them for free- should be treated as equals on here, pretty please? X

Fabiola is your own name? Using your own "name" is also a massive red flag. If you really are a woman these scammers who pretend to be them really know their shit because they do exactly the same things you do. Uncanny. I've gained a little bit more respect for them if you are genuinely a woman.

I actually do think you have to prove that you are a girl, not because I'm sexist, but because of the sheer amount of scammers that post here in BCT.  Also, you did start this post, might as well squash all fears going forward and gain trust, in case you do make transactions here going forward.

They shouldn't have to, but a picture proves nothing anyway. The decent male scammers will have them anyway:

Are the following users male or female?

Because 1,000,000 people asked me to post a pic of myself to prove I'm female:

Hello, I'm currently selling signs for online businesses or just people

Both men pretending to be female. Both conformed scammers, so this is why people are skeptical of women who come on here and do everything they can to assert their gender, because it's sadly what scammers do. I really wish women or Nigerians weren't treated with such suspicion here but sadly people have good reason to because of men abusing these profiles for their own financial gain.
