More seriously about mining in general , i think its going to end ,too much electricity for nothing in a world that must think to keep natural ressource...
Bitcoin is dead for me not right now but this future is not bright , mass adoption is a trap that´s just big corporation catching part of the hyped crypto market ,like paypal.
Crypto have good day to come but not in currencies , this is the blockchain that is the future of transaction and perhaps the next biggest thing after the www for distributing content over the network.

Totally agree with that assessment, bitcoin was genius. It is dying, ASIC technology cannot keep up.
