Sending bank account details name and email must be worth more than 1 cent surely. This is very dodgy in my opinion since the owner wants the details and appears to refuse to escrow.
Meh, not really. Maybe because it's a bitcoin user and you could theoretically hack or phish with the email address and gain access to bitcoins (though that seems kind of unlikely, considering the financial status of people requesting loans), but not much you can do with just an account number and a person's information. If he works for the bank it's already all at his disposal anyway.
We don't know that you actually work for one of Australia's biggest banks. If you PM all your information to a trusted member, I'm sure they'd be able to confirm what you're saying, though.
Done and agreed. Any suggestions of whom can mediate?
I'd prefer each borrower to take their due diligence regardless what a trusted member says, however I'll play ball because I think this is important as well.
Anyone, really. Preferably someone who uses PGP commonly so you can encrypt your personal information. Maybe devdevdev because he has a thread in this section?
