Well, its not really limited, you can use it with Tor or I2P and after the implementation of Zerocoin it's truly anonymous anyway.
The coin is in existence already by the way. I only made the post so I could post on bitcointa.lk which can still be used in China.

Nono, we do a testnet on 15. of October 2014!
The Devs of Anoncoin worked very long on the implementation and now the testnet is about 2 weeks away, pretty amazing!

EDIT: Sadly many many people are not interested in the implementation, I wonder because Zerocoin is superior to any other Anon tech being used by all other Coins ... many don't seem to care about innovation
