Those are separate people, doesn't matter if they store theirs coins to exchange or to the wallet.

All coins stored in exchanges are kept in 1 or few wallets...
In fact i can see my wallet address that is on Bittrex exchange. When people moved coins to a exchange then it is stored in a wallet that you have generated, no? People that bought the coins on a exchange can also generate their wallet address on that exchange, so coins are stored on your wallet address in that exchange.
