I would be dumbfounded (my understanding of the universe would crumble) if CN rings were entirely orthogonal to offchain de-anonymization. My model of chaos is the only things that are 100% orthogonal are those which never interact, i.e. don't exist.
They are not orthogonal. Perfection cannot be achieved, good enough for the majority of use cases is a commendable goal, iterative improvement thereafter.

If you put that in an OP with an ICO people would buy it. People always buy things they don't understand when they're described with words they don't understand.
Has anybody tried making a whitepaper full of technical nonsense and running an IPO/ICO? Seems like somebody could make money doing it!
