Guys on 0.3.8 there is only a new BFGminer binary file with latest commit, it's weird you can't run it. Can you try to run it by terminal to see what happens?You are right, there is a problem with shared libraries, you have to run the command:
sudo ldconfig
I'm fixing this adding the command to the upgrade script.
I tried that command and still no dice; this includes rebooting the Pi. I take it we will have a 0.3.9 in the very near future?
How does one revert to an older image for the time being?
