We cannot verify whether the government issued document is genuine or not. No private company can do this without government assistance. We will keep the photo of government issued ID and this is the most we can do.

Then this will be totally useless as you can Photoshop fake passport ID's very easy. I would not be surprised if you can buy layouts for this on the darknet already.

Just to take ID's will prove absolutely nothing, you will have to take one step further and at last let himself do a Government approval which doesn't cost much to be verified.

We will perform an individual investigation for everyone willing to go through our POD (i.e. we will check their workplace, age of the facebook account, et-cetera - do as much as possible). However this still can be forged, faked like any other POD. Also a shopped passport is easily visible. Only a very high caliber pro can do perfect forged ID because of numerous protections (special symbols, space fillers and holograms that are always overlap with the picture/text).
