Really bad example, phones started as a giant peace with no real need for technical understanding, you had to pick up and press a button and ask the operator to connect you with the person who you want to call which happened to be a person's name instead of a number... then technology evolved while we were using phones, they add something each time... and now we end up with the smart mobiles that operates as computers....it surely didn't happen over night but it took many decades to get here.

Mainstream use of phone started like that yes.... phone technology did not. There was lots of work in infrastructure first, what we now see in bitcoinland. I'm sure with bitcoin it won't take many decades, don"t you think?
