yes that is correct, the Counterparty group is not involved with Tilecoin, as its ASIC-8Tile's project.

Just like how Satoshi Nakomoto and bitcoin developers are not involved with flappycoin or dogecoin...

i take it english is not your first language, he is just announcing that the counterparty are not in partnership with tilecoin, which was obvious to begin with.
