You could try plastering the leak site with concrete putty / modelling putty / silicon / specialist watercooling putty to prevent it leaking until you can get a replacement in. That's what I used to do with plastic radiators.

Syscooling offered to send a replacement if I sent them a pic of the leaking pump via PM...which I did this morning, but haven't heard back from them as of this writing.

I'm not going to try to "patch" syscooling's faulty pump. When I first noticed the leak/failed pump, the miner was clearly overheating. Fortunately, I believe it was only without cooling for less than an hour. I really don't want to have the pump fail again while I am asleep or at work. I realize the miner has an over temp shutdown feature, but I have no desire to confirm that it works properly. I ordered a different pump and will use syscooling's replacement pump as a backup when / if get it.

Did they send your's ems to?

I started talking with them on Nov 7th. I have not received either RMA pump or harness. zero out of 2 have come. And zero compensation.

I had no choice but to get another brand pump with over 1/2 month and they still have not managed to get rma's to me. Keep in mind this is the company that still has not admitted V1 harness can go very bad, and who know's how many of these pumps they ran dry.

I don't know. They just responded to my PM (see Edit in my last post below). I will let the forum know how the replacement process goes...good or bad.
