Is series linking multiple C1s still the way to go?

I've got my hands on a couple of C1s to play with. I know they are way past state-of-the-art these days, but the price was right and I've got access to some cheap electricity so I thought the time is ripe for adding to my meager mining setup. I'm not doing it to make money... more for the fun of it I guess.

The guy who had them before me used one pump/reservoir then a Y adapter feeding coolant to both C1s, then two radiators, another Y and then back to the pump/reservoir.

Running them in series would certainly reduce the number of junctions in the coolant hoses which would make me sleep easier at night.
