From the looks of it the hashrate was generally not affected, however the amount of money invested in miners was much less back then. I think it would be interesting to see how the hashrate is affected the next time the block subsidy is halved.

Hopefully the price of the bitcoin rise due to the decrease in miners dumping them. If bitcoin price rise twice then hashrate shouldn't be affected

Except that the halving will be priced in before it actually happens, because everyone knows it'll happen.

It is priced in today but can make the price go up slowly until then.
