This is probably because people are so willing to invest in new altcoins, probably with the hope that it will have the same success that Bitcoin has had.

no because when you sell at 1,50 $ or just lost your wallet its over. i guess the majority of these people just left the bitcoin sphere because they dont saw the future of BTC .

I think a lot of people sold during one of the many times it's price increased 5x or 10x. I don't think many people were able to forsee the success that bitcoin had.

Just because people are active in bitcoin and have bitcoin does not mean they need to post or be active here
