My advice to you is to do loads and loads of research don't believe all the hype out there.

coingecko is a joke, every stat it has about bitshares is completely wrong, for example it says that there are only 66 closed issues in development instead of 882. They also feel that facebook "likes" should be counted in the community rate but not the forum stats of a coin.
