was DHCP checked or unchecked?
Use advanced IP scanner (PC) to see its IP address.

He does not need to scan for the IP as he can clearly log into the webUI.
Simply check your network settings and ensure you have it set to DHCP (as Biodom suggests), if not set it as such and then Save & Apply.
