Re: Crash recoveries are not moons
by

It's irritating to see people saying that after a 20% crash (which happened a week ago or so), that 1 or 2% daily recoveries is a good sign for the market. It's not.
It is definitely true to know that but also if you have lost 10% of your portfolio, it will take so much more than 10% of gain in order to recover. It is a simple math law that I have read somewhere here.

Re: minimum amount to start trading?

What was the amount with which you started trading
I mean your very basic investment and was that your extra money or required money?
The best amount and the one that I were starting with is $500 because it is not so painful if you will lose it and it is enough to start something good here without childish play.

Re: Hold or sell ?

Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?
I think it is the matter of faith of every person, if you have enough confidence in cryptocurrency future to hold you can proceed but if you are worrying and your life become a nightmare it would be better for you to sell even if you would not earn a lot.

I can say that my characteristics is the patience and positiveness like optimist I am always trying to believe in the cryptocurrency which I am buying. I'm not selling if it is going down a little bit right away.

Re: Do you think that the price is fully manipulated?
by

on 15/08/2018, 18:07:06 UTC
I think that it was really strange that in January when BTC went down all big cryptocurrency exchanges closed registration for new members and they opened it only when the price was low. Then at spring when the downtrend was broken(7000$) there were many news that cryptocurrency now will go up! But whales just made big shorts at 10 000 $and all the news said that cryptocurrency won't go up for along time and market went down to current position.
I'm thinking that those who are having a big amount of money here are trying to manipulate the price but we are still having many of different other factors that would affect the price besides them.

Re: Why every coin dumping now? I am losing huge money

What is happening in crypto world? Every Altcoins are dumping now, I am new but I have some good worthy coins. Now I am losing huge money for this dumping.

What should I do now? I am very worry about it.
As far as we can see this is the normal state of the market of cryptocurrency and you should not be saying you are losing money because in terms of cryptocurrency you are all having the same money that you had before it just costs less.

Re: Ripple vs Ethereum
by

on 10/08/2018, 18:22:22 UTC
im not an altcoin guy but im suddenly interested , as i can see on coinmarketcap there is ripple just after bitcoin then after it litecoin and ethereum , still isee a lotof people speaking about ethereum more then they do about ripple i just checked the website on ethereum and for some reasons i didn't understand anything , can't even find an executable file to download and if it's on beta will people lose their ether later (that's if they are storing them anywhere)
Ether is anyway harder and cooler than ripple is, so I was vote for Ethereum anyway than for Ripple, also I believe that ripple is having a great future but in my opinion it will never overcome Ethereum.

Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency?
by
112tigra112
on 08/08/2018, 11:31:02 UTC
The risk in the virtual currency market is the risk of losing some or all of its capital when the investor performs the investment or virtual currency transaction. Identify the risks before conducting a transaction, helping them to know the specific loss rate in each case of investment will be how to, minimum and maximum how to decide the scale of investment, the first time investment, time of investment completion, and other relevant factors.

The answer of mine would be as simple as it only can be. You should not rest more than you are ready to lose in case of risk. If you are ready to lose $1,000 per your investment for risking then you can go with it.

I will say the Chinese or Spanish is the most usable languages in the world but if you are fluent in English it would be sufficient for you to speak with most of the people in the world on understandable level.

I'm thinking that those people who bought bitcoin with the price of $3,300 are not complaining right now when it costs around $7,500 because for them the prices still high and they are still 2 times beneficial.

In my opinion banks in the last thing would be more secure and guaranteed you will get your money back, but bitcoin investing would be so much more perspective and promising, you can get more money from it then from a bank.

For most of the people it is hard to understand and fit inside their minds the thing that are having a value without having any support like gold or some dollar equivalent, it is hard to imagine something which has value in itself.

Re: How low will this bear trend go?
by
112tigra112
on 04/08/2018, 22:10:55 UTC
At what price do yal think will be bottom before we turn back up? I'm thinking $4,900 not to spread any FUD, however, they say when it rains it poors, and we have still yet seen people's response to this upcoming Tuesday on the 6th when all American policymakers meet, SEC and everyone else and we see what kind of regulation is made. The price will go down until the millionaires and wall street tycoons are happy to buy what they're going to buy and then we'll see it soar up to $13-$20k post regulations.
That's a common question that anyway no one can answer on, because if I would know how low I can go with my bitcoin this time I would never sell it and more of that I will buy it on the lowest position and also I would not tell anybody Tongue

Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk?
by

on 04/08/2018, 22:09:32 UTC
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?
It can depend on the particular government that you're under and country that you're in, because in some of the country's cryptocurrency is already banned and restricted so you're really under the risk.

Re: What happnes to BTC,if the oil price goes up?

The oil price is going up and many people expect it will go above 100 USD per barrel,or even 120 USD per barrel. How this will impact the world economy and the cryptocurrency prices?
I have many own theory about this and I will share it later, but know I'm waiting for other opinions.
Is this good or is it bad for bitcoin?
I can hardly imagine what is the dependency with to those things, it is kind of similar for me like that topic which says that cryptocurrency price will go up when the world wide cup of soccer will end.

Re: Be greedy when others are fearful...
by
112tigra112

I think that mentality would ruin cryptocurrencies. Even if we have control of our finances, greediness of others will take ours and I think that even in crypto, no investments are safe. Values are moving and that gives us no assured amount. I think people see crypto as  game in which if you do not win, you lose.
That saddens me a bit.
I know from the latin sentences that fortune is more opened to those who are brave and bold. But it is really hard when you are valuating your money very high. It is much easier when you have some experience as an investor.

indeed sometimes we get bored and emotion when they say and criticize bitcoin gan. but if we answer it will emerge the debate. I'd better go. and try to find a gap if bitcoin is not as bad as what they say .

I believe in my own opinion about Bitcoin. I don't read the news about it because it is only news. I have my own strategy and I go on.

i bealive in bitcoin and think if the price down you can sell some part of it, but not all, because in one moment it grow up)

It is better to hold when's the price is going down. You and you can invest and then because after that always the price goes up and you will be able to help profit in the future.

Re: What language should I learn next?

I know some of you would wonder what this topic is doing here, in the Economics section, but since it is in fact an economic question with purely utilitarian goals in mind, I think it is where it should be. This is a serious question and I'm not kidding. I'm not very interested in European languages like German or French, or whatever, as I think languages like Chinese and Japanese are more promising and rewarding in terms of both usage and money in the nearest future. Personally, I'm more inclined toward Japanese (that's why I'm not decided yet), though I understand that Chinese may be a better choice for the time being and years to come

So what is your opinion on this matter from an economic point of view, with crypto in mind?
In developing world of economy I can say that three major languages would be English Spanish and Chinese, those are really worth it to know and study. Also you can apply to translation company as well.
