I have never used Uniswap before, how much would it cost to exchange ETH to MVT? Etherscan shows that Uniswap Swap estimated cost is $145.21, is it real? Do I need to pay $300 to get $150 worth of tokens?
yeah this is because Ethereum is unfortunately severely broken and has become a whale network, it costs like 30-40$ in fees to send a simple token transaction of 100 USDT last time I checked. It really doesn't make much sense. I would have liked to buy more MVT but exactly because of this I've been staying away from all tokens on Ethereum. I hope ETH 2.0 comes within the next 3 years or projects like The Movement migrate to a better chain. What do you guys think about this?

I wouldn't even be surprised if this MVT goes to $10 in this bull market at a couple mil $ volume.
There are not many old school community DAO projects that are active after years like this one is.

The Senate will hold a hearing next month on Facebooks Libra currency
"On Wednesday, the Senate Banking Committee announced it will be holding a hearing next month to question witnesses over Facebooks new cryptocurrency initiative, Libra.
The hearing, entitled Examining Facebooks Proposed Digital Currency and Data Privacy Considerations, is set for July 16th, but the committee has yet to nail down who will be testifying. What do you mean to say by that mate? This is the ANN as the project is about to be released. The linked thread is a general discussion thread about people's first impression of "GlobalCoin". Since then the project's name has been made public as "Libra".

It will surely have good impact on crypto market in general but some are saying it will outrival bitcoin which is very hard to believe for me ,globalcoin will do fine no doubt but can't rival bitcoin
It cannot rival Bitcoin, I agree with that, I share the same perspective.
However, what makes you think that it will have a good impact on the crypto market in general? Because it inevitably raises awareness for cryptotechnology & DeFi?
