Re: Bitcoin uses too much energy?

Bitcoin uses too much energy and most agree on that but it is not a problem with bitcoin but there is a problem with the power source we used to mine bitcoin because most miners use home electricity mainly because it is the most convenient method they can find but this is a era where even cars and houses use solar electricity to run instead damaging the environment but yet even for a great innovative currency like bitcoin we haven't found an innovative way to mine it and we accuse bitcoin that it is making environmental damage but we already have the technology to stop that right now but nothing effective is happening

https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/7xmvbq/bitcoin-energy-science-world-electricity-demand

Now Motherboard is not the best source for news, but let's consider the implications of this...

Consuming immense amounts of energy is actually somewhat counterproductive if we consider the vision of Bitcoin giving us tools for independence. And it's somewhat unethical because we should not be using more than we need on this earth.

However, we don't really know how much energy it is consuming at this stage, so this could just be another reporter trying to find a story.

Bitcoin really uses too much energy and many miners say that because earlier bitcoin mining was considered as easy and very profitable and that is the main reason many miners were joined to the network but now things has got little complicated because electricity in many countries are not cheap and even mining hardware is too expensive so most miners think bitcoin mining power waste at least should be reduced in coming years so miners can take a profit than a lost and it will do good even to the network

Re: Physical bitcoin - Is this the future?
by
ANUKRAMAYON
on 12/09/2018, 05:43:44 UTC
If in the future Bitcoin will become a widespread currency, someone will notice that being digital can be a downside, because it makes Bitcoin 100% tied to the Internet, electricity and electronic devices, unlike fiat money that can exist in many forms. Physical Bitcoin already exists, but mostly for collectible purposes. If someone will decide a physical Bitcoin for payments, they will probably get a lot of Bitcoins (lets's say 10 000), lock them in and release paper currency that will be backed by those Bitcoins. It will work just like current cash, but backed by Bitcoin instead of gold, and it won't have any problems with private key ownership that you have described in your post.

It is a great concept and smart way to convert Bitcoin into paper currencies for necessary people in essential scenarios and of course today Bitcoin is entirely depending on the Internet and electricity and still many areas and regions in the world doesn't have those facilities properly and even have most retail and other payment options desire paper currencies over digital currencies so in such situations converting Bitcoing paper currency might be very valuable

Re: People call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme
by

The fact is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, that they call Bitcoin a ponzi scheme doesn't change any thing about the originality of Bitcoin. Such people have little knowledge about how the Blockchain technology works, they need to be enlightened

Of course until they fully understand about Bitcoin and its blockchain network people will call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme and it is normal for them to say that but once they understand about the true nature and potential qualities about Bitcoin the view might change for better but for this ti happen it might take several years because still the amount of people who benefit from Bitcoin are much less considering the rest

Bitcoin's situation will not be positive in the short term. If the year-end targets are high, the situation is not so

Yeah in short term we won't see a considerable progress in the Bitcoin price because for anything to develop and improve in the business and financial field the time is essential and for Bitcoin it is the same so our invested currencies may have to keep in our wallets for longer period of time until the price increases to a considerable level to gain profits but selling before that means loosing profits or for some even a part of there investment

I know is manipulation about how dropping price bitcoin or altcoin, but I am still little worried if many people keep sell their coin, I know they have panic to sell coin and make price more drop, just few people know is bad situation to make altcoin or bitcoin go down to drop price.

Some times manipulators make bad situations worse by making other panic to sell there tokens during a drop by making different kind of things so the effect would be much worse for the market and to the currency and some times I have seen some currency prices takes much longer than anticipated to recover due to band things are done by manipulators so if some one is trying to play with the market artificially and interrupting the natural ways things always get worse

Any one in the crypto community will be able to call Bitcoin a global currency in the near future because many options are coming to use Bitcoin as a currency because most industries are now opening options to make payments in Bitcoin in there systems to target the crypto community with that Bitcoins business adaptation increases rapidly and the day we can call Bitcoin a currency is becoming very closer

Best investment would be the Bitcoin because now the Bitcoin prices are low and also it is recovering at the moment so the investors can get high amount for a lower price to gain big profits in the future but will take some time because as the first digital currency in the world anything isn't easy for Bitcoin so it always have to face many problems politically, socially and economically during its progress but the investors investment won't be in vain and that is certain

Most business individuals, banks and governments leaders are trying to popular things like above because they know if Bitcoin continues in the future it will led to a financial crisis in the world by destroying the current banking system. To avoid that countries like United states of america made huge impact on bitcoin and even went further to limit the user's in bitcoin locally so Bitcoin crashed

Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards
by

Still the crypto market is very new to the world and investing in a cryptocurrency is new to any investor and unlike other investing options people are not confidence enough to use large amount of money to a market that was introduces recently. But even in those situations we can see real investors who are willing to invest huge amounts by taking the risk and that is the main reason most new ICO projects are continuing without any financial problems thanks to there contribution so yes many are cowards and there are non cowards too

Re: Who controls the crypto market?
by

Like many other investing markets the Crypto market is controlled by news, regulations, business openings, traders, investors and other direct and indirect sources and with there interactions to the cryptocurrency market . So according to those people and sources market price increase or decreases and other than that there is no centralized authority powerful enough to control Crypto market unlike other markets which gives both advantages and disadvantages for the market and people in the crypto community

Re: Crypto falls to lowest price since February – Why is BTC falling?

Bitcoin prices goes down because I think mainly the holders are leaving Bitcoin investments due to the price problem and many other reasons. I hope this will not continue and if this continues no one will confidence enough to invest in Bitcoin and when Bitcoin prices goes down it makes the same effect on other currencies too which is really a bad situation

Crashing Bitcoin is temporary and it occurred due to public concern that if Bitcoin continues in the future it will led to a financial crisis in the world by destroying the current banking system and other essential financial or economical organizations so countries like United states of America and other major countries like India made huge impact on bitcoin and even went further to limit the user's in bitcoin locally so Bitcoin crashed

Re: Why Bitcoin isn't a legit currency.
by
ANUKRAMAYON
on 24/08/2018, 03:30:53 UTC
because bitcoin is still new. moreover there are still many people who don't know what is the world of bitcoin. it's the bitcoin barrier to legitimate money. but I'm sure that bitcoin will someday become a legitimate currency like paper currency

Sure some day Bitcoin will become legit as paper or fiat money but Bitcoin need atleast 51% formal agreement for that to happen which is not happening at the moment and even it is happening it is in a slow rate right now but we can hope that will happen in the near future so many can use it without hesitation to make there payments and for there core business transactions to develop there functions further with better efficiency and security

It is true that during thses days trading is the best thing to do and to earn properly the investor or the trader should have the knowledge more than money otherwise everything will be invain because the market is unpredictable only experienced people could understand so it is better to start learing the market than focusing on bounty campaigns
