Well, waves might just compete with Ethereum and become an equal rival if it keeps up like this,

Yeah obviously it has many advantages of itself. but the media is helping to get that known to the world, people who don't know about litecoin have to hear about it before they can notice the merits it has and use it, so the media coverage is helping allot to give this coin the credits it deserves as it's highly under valued in my opinion. It's getting better these days and hopefully it's only the beginning. i mean if bitcoin can reach 20k then litecoin should def deserve more then 300 imo.

I think waves is actually a possibility, maybe not for 2018 but very possible in 2019/2020 its circulating supply is not so high at 100 million, its at 15/16 dollar at the moment and increasing, its gaining allot of attention and has a very active team & community propegating it and adding new updates.

for it to get to 1500 dollar (a x100 increase) would make it ''only'' a third of the current marketcap of bitcoin and slightly above the current cap of Ethereum.

So to me waves is a big possibilty to still see a x100. Not to forget it basicly did an almost x100 already in one year timespan (one year ago in december 2016 it was 20 cent and right now it's 16 dollar)

So litecoin is continueing to grow after some people believed it would drop back, its at 350+ dollar at the moment and highly expected to reach 500 dollar in 2017

one of the reasons its seeing a pump right now again is because it appeared on CNBC fast money today with Brian kelly telling he bought some litecoin and him mentioning the reasons why he did that and why he thinks litecoin is a good currency:

Ffs if someone put 1k in both dogecoin and bitcoin 1 week ago, the dogecoin would've given him 3k by now vs the barely 700 dollars bitcoin would've given him

With bitcoin at the moment u need massive initial investment to profit since it became such a huge number; it can move by the thousands and if u invested just 1k for example u would barely make some profit while many other altcoins will give u a much bigger profit; then why is everybody so hyped by bitcoin lol they get of only because they see it as such a big number? forgetting that how bigger the number how smaller the % increase?

especially if u add the drawbacks of bitcoin (expensive fees, slow time etc) and the advantages of alt coins it really makes one wonder why people keep investing so much in bitcoin and forget about the other coins

it went from 4 dollar to 300 dollar in 2017 and bitcoin went from 900 to 17000
yes it is surely without any doubt possible. With all the new investors and the mainstream talk etc it could even hit 10k in 2018
but will it happen? only time will tell, for all we know it could go back to 5 dollar.

All what we can do is buy, HODL, don't panic sell; spread the word to our friends, family etc and fasten our seatbelt for when this plane will go to the moon.

And in a few months people who buy then will regret not having bought it now lol

lol but for real; nobody knows, on reddit the general view was that it would go down till 250 (some predicted 220) and that's what happened yesterday; went till 250 and then went to 280 again within an hour since then its been at 300-320 and it looks that 300 will be a nice buttom limit for now.. so if it was me; anything below 300 dollar seems good, i myself bought some at 270 dollar. i think it will stay a while at the 300 untill it gets nice and stable before it will start raising again. But don't take my word for it lol, in the end i don't think it will matter too much since i expect it to go to 500 dollar soon anyway

lol funny to read here that just a few months ago 1 dollar was seen as ''high'' for waves.. today we are at 14x that, and i'm sure in 2018 we will see it at least go x10 again

Never ''panic buy'' after the raise already happened sometimes it turns out well but mostly it will suck and u will have a few sleepless nights. Buy coins when they been stable for a few days

Also better to stick to older and estahblished coins which are known; the profit may not come fast but if u have patience u are sure to make some profit over time if u just hodl patiently

Also looking at the actual technology might be a good idea tho i myself suck at that tbh

i guess 500 will be reached this month and then somewhere in 2018 it will slowly grow to 1k, when it reached 1k it will get people's interest just like bitcoin did early 2017 and we might see a similair moonflight in 2018

i mean litecoin is very similair to bitcoin just faster and cheaper, also its known, trustable, the maker is an active guy giving interviews etc. its one of the older coins etc

Most people don't care too much about technology, when they see a bitcoin ''clone'' which is faster and cheaper & likely to grow fast; they will buy.

so in my opinion as soon as it its 1k (somewhere early 2018 maybe) it will rise much faster after that

Nearly 400? i think 340-350 was the highest? and the lowest it hit since then is aproxx 250, that's not bad tbh, me and many other people expected it to go as low as 250, some people even expected 200.. seems quite normal to me, gotta remember that it went from 100 to 300 in just 3 days..

i bought some at 290 so obviously i would love to see it rise again lol, but i think it will be fine, it went as low as 250 at 03:00 UTC that was the occasion to buy; just one hour after after it jumped to 280. If u check reddit u will see that many people put buy orders at 250; it was expected to go that low. The way it looks now is that it will slowly increase again; i think 300 dollar today isn't farfetched...
