I did contact them 2 months ago about a refund, haven´t heard shit.

Now that BTC is on the rise, its much harder for them to refund to who ever paid in bitcoin.

Anyone had any communication with BA?

I would like to get my Batch #1 order refunded, but it seems impossible to get a hold of these guys.

I got no answer on my ticket about changing my order.

If there won´t be any more communication. I assume they will send the units top my fathers place, having to pay 25% VAT on my original investment of 6000 USD which its far from worth today. Then it will be sitting silent at my fathers house a few weeks before I have the time to pick it up.

what´s the best way to get in touch with BA?

Anyone checked with them about changing the order to include hosting? Do they have any capacity left?

I asked this question, but have not gotten an answer yet.

I was planning picking my up at the factory the 24. of February.
But with the news in this thread I am not sure booking a ticket is such a good idea.

Is it true.. that we can overclock the units with almost 50%? as you reduced is to keep up the efficiency ?

Quote
This is not correct. By reducing the speed at the design time, the whole chip (netlist) changes.

Normally, we expect 20-30% overclocking capability. Note that this is not supported or advertised officially because we cannot guarantee it.

This was the answer given bye blackarrow in a thread on their forum. Although I did not understand wtf a netlist is. So if they say no, I guess I have to live with it.

Has there been any discussion about overclocking the X-3?

From the technical news they said they had to increase the number of cores to reach their efficiency target.
They lowered the frequency from 1.5Ghz to 1Ghz.

I thought this would mean if I don´t care about the efficiency I should run it at 1.5Ghz with a stronger PSU. However Black Arrow software says this would not be possible.

Why not? Does it have to do with cooling?

This is not as good as our first simulations which were based only on Front End but this is where we need to stop. The time does not allow us to continue our effort towards seeking a lower power consumption.
We had to drop the frequency from 1.5Ghz to 1.0Ghz in order to achieve this efficiency. However we've increased the number of cores so the Minion will hash at the speed promised.
We had met all the timings for 1.5Ghz but the efficiency was 0.8W/Ghash and this is not something we could have accepted.

Hi I made a payment for a mining contract 48 hours ago with e-pickaxe.com

So far I have not heard anything back from them, can you verify that they are a legitimate company?

If not I would highly recommend you remove them as an advertiser on your webpage.

Hi

Wanted to join this forum for a long time.
And i finally did to warn other members about a cloud mining company called e-pickaxe.com

I read a review about that site and thought it was legitimate. But 48hours after i paid for a contract, I still haven't heard anything.

I can´t be 100% sure its a scam, but other member beware.

Would love to make a thread about them under the mining forum, but I don't think I am allowed to start any new thread yet.

Cheers
