Re: [SERIOUS] What do people think of direct cash payments (US stimulus package)?
by

Short term consideration:
1) It will help some people bridge over.
2) It will increase confidence and morale that the crisis will pass over, lowering the impact on economy (as opposed to a panic crash)
3) Judging "who needs it most" is always trouble. Flat payment is fair and goes well with keep it simple principle.

Long term consideration:
1) Giving everybody money does not make everybody richer. It is just a fake number. It is going to show, just later.
2) The real damage to production (supply chains, businesses) was done. Printing money covers it up and does not change that.
3) As it always goes with "boosting the economy", it only bridges over problems, not fixing them, and grows the bubble.
4) The loans incurred in this time - by households, businesses and whole states, worldwide, will have to be paid. Nominally, everybody is more rich, why in reality, everybody incurred hard damage. This will eventually show. Hard to say how exactly, but as some for of crisis in the coming years.

EDIT: Wex support admit that there were NO withdraws from my account:
So their support still works? Also, I have just noticed some interface improvements. How does that go together with whatever scam they could be doing??

What kind of interface improvements did you notice?

Now in trading there are sliders for putting in % of owned currency.

I tried writing to the support, asking when they will enable the withdrawals and got a quick reply

We are still performing service works and some withdrawal methods are disabled. We will inform you when they will be enabled through our official media (link to twitter).
I don't understand how those people are ok working there, knowing what is happening.

How to distribute tokens to business partners and project team?
by

Say you are starting a blockchain startup, you go through a successful rounds of a token sale and you have this pool of tokens to use as incentive to your team and your partners in the business. What are the best practices to distribute the tokens? I.e. period of payouts, KPI's, and mainly - how to incorporate valuation of the tokens over time?

Example 1 - there is 1000 tokens allocated for a give team member, who has been there from the very beginning working for free for half a year til the ICO, and then stays with the project into the unknown future. How many tokens and at what stages should he get / how to think about it?

Example 2 - there is 100,000 tokens allocated for a partner business responsible for PR/marketing. How would you structure and condition the payouts?

I am sure it is a common problem, but I was not able to find any good resource. Thanks for your advice Smiley

Hi,
I would like to ask you to clarify this basic aspect of the BFS hunting for me (sorry if it is too obvious).
Does the transaction fee hunting revenue depend on computing power, or solely on the amount of owned bfs? And does it require the bfs client to be running in order to gain anything?
Thanks for your response.

If you say it's not a pyramid, you should explain why. But anything where you have to pay first is a bad idea.

If the popularity would stay on the current level (which it won't) and the inflation would be about the same as it was in the past 50 years, it should take about the same time again. But more likely it will either die or skyrocket in value much higher.

It's just lazy admins. And it's a retarded idea, people like me send meaningless posts just to be able to post where they really want to.

It is quite likely, although I would not make guesses on the timeframe. As long as it exists and holds up, inflation will catch up eventually.
