Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain
by

hey sorry the question but any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to deposit 10% of my DIMCOIN to HitBTC but I could not figure out how to send it from the NanoWallet. I know I have to use mosaic transfer, remove xem and chose dimcoin as a currency. but there do I put in the payment ID HitBTC requires? Has anyone of you already been able to deposit there?

I know deposits are currently closed but I guess once they reopen my problem will be the same.

Re: Liqui.io withdrawal fees?

withdrawal fees are rather high, especially when there's a new coin listed with not a lot of value and if the value increases they do not adapt it. They wanted 50 ADX and 50 DNT once as a fee. You can easily bypass it by exchangig coins to Ethereum and then withdraw it.

Re: Bitcoins grows, alts go down, bitcoin goes down, alts go down even more - why?

I’m not sure about your statement which says bitcoin goes down then altcoin goes down even more. I have never seen that happening in first place. It has always been the reverse case for altcoins and bitcoin. They never match up because the most popular trading pair is bitcoin/altcoin only and that’s why whenever people go for selling the alts then they will do it with bitcoin leading to increased rates of bitcoin and decreased for the altcoins. Thus vice verse case is also true for them.

I have seen it happening many times since the rise of Bitcoin from the first of August this year. Everytime there was a BTC price correction, alts were bleeding even more than BTC. They rise only if BTC stays stable or goes up/down only slightly. If it's more than 3% change of BTC, alts are done for usually. Of course it's hard to generalize this, you would find exceptions to this as well. But I have been following a lot of alts and I would say at least that it happens like this often.

And to add one more layer of complexity: Ethereum-based ERC-20-tokens behave in the same way when ETH rises/falls, not only when it's the case with BTC.

The problem is that almost all traders see altcoins not as an investment into a new technology/idea but they see it as a way to produce more bitcoins.

They compare the altcoin price only to the bitcoin price, the $ price is irrelevant for them. Most of them got large quantities of BTC when it was still cheap.

So BTC goes up --> they have to sell all of their altcoins in order not to make a loss on their BTC number. Because for them if BTC goes up and alts stay the same/go down they make a loss in BTC.

BTC goes down --> they know that altcoins go down even more when BTC goes down (I do not understand exactly why it is like this). So they sell their altcoins for BTC and wait until BTC stabilizes and altcoins are at the lowest point, then buy altcoin and like this get more Altcoin than they previously had because of the altcoin discount.

BTC is stable --> they still seek to increase the number of their BTC and try to chose altcoins that have a bigger growth than BTC.

All those stupid forks just increase this problem, but as long as people profit from it, there will be many more forks since it's basically free money. It's one of the many ways to scam people, just like those massive amount of airdrop coins or some greedy ICOs (not alls ICOs).

This behaviour is also the reason why the altcoin prices will always depend on the BTC price (among other things, like for example that you can buy a lot of alts only with BTC).It will always stay like this because this is how you make the most out of your Bitcoin/Money. People also seem to follow traders blindly, contributing to this problem. I wonder what it takes to make altcoins price development more independent from BTC/traders. Maybe being able to buy Altoins with fiat would help. Or if people would wake up and realise that Bitcoin is already an old technology and there are way better options within the world of blockchain.

I withdrew all of my funds from Bittrex today. Will trade on Binance mostly now, maybe sometimes Etherdelta as well. COSS also seems fine. It's about high time for Kyber, OmegaOne and similar projects to succeed. We need decentralised exchanges and not those who do anything the government tells them and screw over people randomly.

or me this Desaster sounds very much like the US Government is collecting/blocking the funds that belongs to countries they consider enemies. It's no coincidence that  most of the accounts that were closed without notice are from Iran, Russia, Turkey, Syria. Bittrex probably has to play along or the will be closed.

Nothing confirmed of course, but I would not be surprised if this is the case. The US is the biggest rogue state after all.

If you really want something for longterm, i can advise you platforms for crypto.

There are a few, but not many that haven't pumped up to the sky yet. So my coin to go would be naming Ardor. It should be up with Etherium and nem. and it looks like it will be going there!

Yes! I really like Ardor and I think it will be good long term! I would love to get into it, but because of the recent rise in the price I am still not sure if it's a good idea to get in now.

I'm no crypto expert but I hold COSS at the moment. I get fee split share with the amount of coss I have and I'm just waiting for the price to rise up again. Some fuders are fuding about the coin so price is kinda cheap at the moment.

I actually participated in this ICO but did not have great expectations since the exchange was relatively unknown and had a rather small volume. sold at 2x, regretted after. Have been thinking of getting in again, but for that the price would have to go lower a bit still.

best mid/longterm coins to get in now?
by

Hi! Currently I hold in those Positions mostly OMG, KNC, LINK, ADX, OAX, WAVES, DNT and a few NEO. I am looking of getting into some projects that might be profitabe mid- longterm.

H have been thinking about the following coins: Waltonchain, Loopring, Vechain, Bytom,  Metaverse ETP, and Tron.

Would you recommend getting in one or more of those coins at their current prices? I am open to new suggentstions also. If you suggest something, I would be interested also to hear your opinion on why you think they are going to be profitable mid- longterm.

Most people still only know about bitcoin or are afraid of the fluctuating altcoins. However Bitcoin will be a thing of the past soon, technically speaking. It might stay on top for some more time because of people and popularity.

Re: Best Bitcoin Gold strategy

Unless you have tons of BTC, the best strategy is to buy altcoins in the dip and don't care about Bitcoin Gold. I have done the same about Bitcoin Cash and am more than happy with the results of this strategy. Plus I think Bitcoin Gold will be weaker than Bitcoin Cash.

I really do not understand this behaviour of most people.  BTC goes up 3-5%, everybody sells everything they have for BTC (and those stupid telegram signal groups even advising noobs to do the same) in the hope of a maximum gain of 10% in BTC.  If people would not blindly follow this trend, much higher gains would be possible with many other coins. I myself will use this to hold and buy more Altcoins as I did in July. It has given me really good results since then.

Re: XPX Red Pulse ICO was over in minutes

While possible, I always find these things hard to believe. Like there has to be some artificial volume there.

Everybody was able to contribute 1000$ at maximum in the first hour and it was sold out at least 70% by then. Then after 1 hour (with some delay  Angry Angry Angry ) the cap was opened up until 50k $ per person and it was probably sold out in 1-2 blocks. If not for the delay and all transations that were exactly on time not accepted for the token sale,  it would have sold out after 1-2 minutes. the cap was at 15 mln $. they probably got 3x that amount in those 7-8 minutes the sale lasted because of all the too early transactions. I hope they make it a priority to send back asap.
