Re: Stop betting on favorites all the time
by
Ararbermas
on 06/06/2025, 01:28:18 UTC
If we don’t take time to properly analyze the matchup, we’ll just assume the favorites will win easily.

This is one of the main reasons why many of us fail in sports betting as we don’t look for real value. We just see that a team is the heavy favorite and put our money on it. It’s a mindset that leads to losses. We think that just because we know the game, we already have the edge. But we overlook how the odds and the market are designed to balance the action.

So if you’re always betting on favorites without digging deeper, we all know how that usually ends.
its actually true , many bettors always rely on their favorite team especially if it has a good odds , btw im one of them lol .
But i already realize as well that it still good to go deep ,such for getting information so that you will become comfortable on your bets and of course the percentage of winning is higher. Not that you will realize the mistake when you see the results or during the game that you cannot adjust your bets and what you can do is to accept the situation. Lmao

Re: what games available on gambling sites do you think you can win in the long run?

If we pick a game where we believe we have a chance to win over the long run, then we should really focus on that game. So I want to hear from other gamblers here on what game do you believe gives you the best shot at winning long term?

Are you focusing on it, or do you think, regardless of the game type, the chances to win are always the same?
if i need to choose one only, probably i would rely on sport betting but i will focus only on one match coz the percentage of winning is higher for me , although it requires big amount to gain big reward as well but it's safe , i mean not the same with other games that sometimes even your positive on your prediction you still end up losses.

Re: What's your trading strategy

For me, I use SMC incorporated with ICT on LTF for my entry but recently I've noticed that my analysis Keeps lagging, Price always get to TP before entry which is not funny anymore, for the whole month no trade tagged my entry before going to tp and I'm looking for ways to improve my trading skill.

What strategy have you used to be profitable in the current market conditions?
for me mostly i used ICT, and i trade depends on the pattern of the graph. But before placing trade i need to accumulate more information like if it has possibility to BOS and to shift or if there a FVG respected coz it a win win set up for me.
Actually I've been stop out as well many times, which it seems always trying to touch my stop loss before it goes to my prediction, that's why sometimes if i know my set up has a higher win rate , i never set a stop loss and i close my position manualy if there's a manipulation, like something trying to reverse the market even the pattern is good. And what i learned using ICT is , never expect too much on TP. always rely where the liquidity or the price will stop. Coz tbh my winning trade turn to red and sometimes i missed to get the big profits. .

Re: How many millions have you made?

Hey, everybody. It's been a long time. How many millions have you made?
I haven't been here since 2019.

I've been in the space since 2016, but I never really got to experience earning a large amount of rewards, even though I used to join bounty campaigns and airdrops. Probably if I had to combined all my earnings and managed not to spend them, I’d probably have around a million by now, especially if we consider the current value of Bitcoin today. I can’t even imagine how much money I could’ve had if I had just held onto everything. It would definitely be worth millions now.

Unfortunately, I only ended up with millions of tokens that have no real value. LMAO.

Re: Why Do We Only Set Loss Limits But Never Winning Limits?
by
Ararbermas
on 21/04/2025, 01:10:11 UTC
Don’t we all know that greed leads to losses in gambling? That greed kicks in when we don’t set a target making us keep playing even when we’re already up, until our luck runs out and we end up losing. Can’t we see that? Maybe that’s the reason we don’t win because we don’t know when to stop.

I’m sure the regular gamblers here have experienced this before -- that moment when you say to yourself, "I should’ve just stopped… I could’ve walked away with my profits."

Who can relate?
believing you can still make a lot of money and being over confidence is the real reason why gambler end up losses instead of having a wining days.  That's the truth, and no one can deny of it especially those who are not satisfied of the results and realy wants to achieve a specific amount before they stop betting because they are the one who always regrets afterwards. Lol
It's actually useless even you know how to set limit but you don't know how to control your emotions, that's the reason of exceeding or making the results to negative.

Re: Can you do this experiment?
by

on 20/04/2025, 10:52:32 UTC
If you believe you're skilled at sports betting, enough to pick the single best game daily.. could you actually discipline yourself to bet just once per day for an entire season to prove your profitability?

Personally, I'd struggle. The urge for more action would get to me. Even starting with one game, a loss would leave me feeling unsatisfied, tempted to chase and recover immediately rather than wait for the next day.
why not? It's easy mate ,but me personally such strategy i use to gamble a large amount of money to make sure as well i can get enough profits afterwards, and the advantage of this is that , you're not stressed but same results wherein you can make a good profits as well. What i mean is many people pick a lot of game but most of it are not good results because of being stressed from analyzing or whatsoever. Lmao so for me picking just one game is actually a smart idea but required big amount in order to get a big rewards.

No need to worry about the current situation, coz this always happened specially if there's a decline on bitcoin price , wherein mostly altcoin in the market were affected. I know a lot of people expecting alt coin season to be happend after the bullmarket of Bitcoin and other top assets, but sad to say seems there's an issue reason it still didn't show up and no sign until now for the altcoins to improve. Hence, a best opportunity to accumulate more.

Re: Percentage of money advices to trade with
by
Ararbermas
on 18/04/2025, 00:37:51 UTC
For me personally, i would say to trade what amount you can afford to lose. Because the outcome will be depends on the amount you trade wether you loss or win. Especially on trading crypto which so volatile and if you don't use to set stop limit there's a high probability the amount you trade will disappear immediately. And even let say you have risk management and its 1:2 ratio. Make sure that 1% , will not hurt you Coz after that for sure you will chase your losses which a bad idea as it's the main reason traders burned their account.

So trade responsibly, set a limit to trade and you must know what will be exact amount to risk to avoid regrets. That's my advice.

So, as a sports bettor yourself: Do you believe you already have the skills to succeed? Or do you think you can develop them over time? Or are you just in it for fun, betting to cheer on your favorite teams?
well sad to say ,it's too far for me to become a successful bettor, coz is not that easy due to some errors through my prediction especially when betting too many different match just to obtain higher odds. lol maybe if i stick to one match which where i am familiar of the players only and of course if i have a big capital, coz for sure i can make a good percentage and good win rate. But unfortunately i can't gamble too much money for now , Lmao

Re: Luck and gambling
by
Ararbermas
on 14/04/2025, 01:49:31 UTC
Sometimes I think luck is a place of mental peace because when we lose most of the time we blame luck similarly if we win, it is because of luck (in most time betting /gambling). In fact  what should your own feeling be? This question may seem to most of us gamblers that if an experienced gambler loses the same way, then how is it possible to identify the main algorithm of gambling?

I think the answer to this question may be easy or it may be very difficult, but the secret between us continuing to gamble and winning or losing is a manifestation of the latent state between the developer and gamblers like us, winning or losing.
personally for me as gambler it's actually matter if it's lucky day or a bad day ,like if its good to continue playing or not especially if your already see a resuts. Coz it's really a dumb idea to force your self and keep betting if there's no good results and it's like you let the situation become worse.  So for me such way is my  sign to stop and  a time to decide to come back tomorrow.

Re: Why Most Traders Keep Repeating the Same Mistakes
by
Ararbermas
on 12/04/2025, 21:30:42 UTC
Let’s be real, most retail traders either panic too fast or get greedy when things get turbulent in the market. Every cycle, it’s the same story: either selling too early or holding on too long, and then the same mistakes happen again.

The truth is that many traders never really sit down and study what is going on. They fail to backtest their strategies. They just try to guess what the market will do next. Crypto backtesting is simply testing your approach using historical price data to see what would have happened. It gives you real feedback on whether your strategy could have made money or lost it.

If you missed taking profit in previous market cycles and continue to repeat the same mistake, it might be time to stop blaming the market. Take a moment, study your moves, test your ideas, and learn from the past. The market will always come back, but the lessons you learn today can make a difference tomorrow.
Well, I can say that it's normal. In fact, even expert traders who have been trading for many years still make the same mistakes. And to be honest with you, i've seen many of them share their experiences with their students and provide explanations after the session. Why? Because sometimes we don't recognize the real movement of the market due to its volatility, so we need to accept that, and that's normal. That's also the purpose of risk management coz it's the reason many traders can survive when the market goes against a specific strategy

Re: Traders lose & Investors win in the end!
by
Ararbermas
on 11/04/2025, 00:13:57 UTC
People who invest without leverage will win someday, because those people holds real coin or crypto.
And, those who trades on binance or bybit with leverage will get liquidated. Just like forex!!
Well, it really depends. If traders don’t have proper risk management, Coz it’s hard to stay profitable without it , i mean you’ll likely get liquidated and won’t be able to recover from losses. The same goes for investing.  even if you invest without leverage, the outcome still depends on the project itself. Wherein it could show great progress, or it could turn to dust unexpectedly, especially due to whale manipulation .unless you’re relying on Bitcoin.

These two options, trading and investingare actually the main sources of income for many enthusiasts in the space. But of course, we all have different perspectives. Bur for me, if I had to choose which one gives faster income, I’d say trading (for the short term), since investing usually takes months or even years before generating significant profit.

Re: confidence is a dangerous thing
by
Ararbermas
on 10/04/2025, 12:19:00 UTC
Then I can also add, we know that there is no accurate prediction. But what is sad is that even though they know that the prediction is not accurate, they assumed that the analysis of their prediction was correct and that is the problem for them.

Although, it is not bad to have confidence but of course make sure that what we are giving confidence to is really right so that we will not be happy with what we give such things.
True, being confident in our predictions can sometimes lead to losses. This confidence can make us complacent and less motivated to research whether the team we’re betting on and their opponents are actually in good condition. In sports like basketball, for example, we might not realize that key players are absent or injured, which often leads to unexpected losses. It's great to be confident, but we should always make sure we've checked everything thoroughly before placing our bets.

Re: How To Handle Depression as a result of gambling addiction..?
by
Ararbermas
on 07/04/2025, 22:36:01 UTC
I feel bad when I read gambling stories that led to suicide. No mayyer how addicted someone is, please don't hide it from anyone. It's better for people to talk to you and help you with words of advice and encouragement because they go a long way. However, some gamblers prefer to keep their addition as  a secret, and it's only when they're ready to let go that you can help them.
Yep, that’s true. Many people keep their addictions and problems to themselves, which is why they end up in such situations. Perhaps there’s literally no one around them, or they don’t have close friends to hang out with and share their experiences. That’s why they prefer to focus on places where they can have fun and enjoy themselves like gambling. But sadly, gambling isn’t always about winning. The losing days eventually come, and only those with a strong mindset can survive. That's the saddest fact behind of being a  gambler.

Re: Is Solana still Worth buying??
by
Ararbermas
on 06/04/2025, 09:17:47 UTC
Solana remains a solid investment option thanks to its high throughput and low transaction fees, making it ideal for next-gen decentralized applications. A great example is Glimmer Finance https://glimmerfinance.com/, a platform built on Solana that enables trading of tokenized real-world assets. By leveraging Solana’s speed and cost-efficiency, Glimmer Finance demonstrates the network’s real utility in powering scalable DeFi solutions. This kind of innovation shows that Solana still has strong long-term potential.
A lot of projects use Solana as their network, but it feels like most of them just use it for promotion. I used to join airdrops and participate in different activities in the space, but despite all the promises, my wallet is still empty. Even on Twitter, they ask users to drop their Solana wallets, but in the end, it’s all for likes, retweets, and followers. Honestly, it feels like a waste of time. That’s why I don’t think it’s worth buying, it seems like most of them just use Solana to get what they want. What i mean is to obtain money from interested investors.

To be honest, I haven’t really done anything with my gambling winnings yet. You know why? Because most of the time, I end up losing them. What usually happens is that when I start winning, I get overconfident and eventually lose not just my winnings, but even my capital. Lol. But now, I’ve set a goal for myself, and I really hope I can stick to my limits to achieve it. Coz i just want to treat my parents and my partner to a nice vacation, just for once this year.

Many projects now is rebranding even those projects that want to obtain money from investor only, such those project that become dust in the market after listing . and for me to be honest such way of recovery is really confusing and for sure many people will wonder especially those who take a break on the space. Wherein why they do that instead of reviving the project if it's forgotten.? Seems not promising to me be honest.

Can anyone recommend free or low-cost trading simulators? I’d like to practice before diving into real trades. What’s the best platform for that?

Personally, I find TradingView to be a great platform for practice. It provides accurate data, and so far, I haven’t encountered any bugs or issues that could disrupt the experience. They also offer affordable plans for those interested in accessing some of their premium features. Just to be clear, I’m not advertising the platform, this is based purely on my own experience. And yes, it’s completely free if you don’t want to spend any money. It’s really up to you.

Re: Which one is more painful for you
by
Ararbermas
on 06/04/2025, 02:29:30 UTC
There are two types of pain to deal with when gambling and losing.

1. The first one is the money you risk and lose.
2. When the money you almost win is very big.

Now ask yourself which one makes you feel pain even more? On my own part, losing what I risked is very easy for me, it is still money but it is the type that I can afford to lose.

How much damage can $3 do to someone who makes some hundreds of dollars per month? I can only feel the pain if the amount I almost successfully grabbed is very big.

Normally it is a bit more tricky to win large amount with small amount of money, but we move, how about you?
The one thing that always causes me pain in gambling is when I’ve already had a big win, but then, because I get confident thinking I can make more, I end up with nothing — even losing my capital. It has actually happened to me many times. I always feel like someone is whispering in my ear to take the risk, even when I’ve already made a profit. nd that’s the reason I keep blaming myself afterwards, but still happening. Lmao
