You could buy a gekko compac stick for $25 and get like 10x the hash vs. that little usb stick you have. Still effectively 0 chance at solving a block, but a fun thing to mess around with.
And those block erupters still have some value suprisingly. He could sell it on ebay, and upgrade to the compac.
It seems a lot are still collecting block erupters and the different colors helped it I think.
Do either of you guys know where I could snag a few? Most of the stores that sell them are sold out...but I'm still looking around. I've always been interested in those, coincidentally.

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
We all knew that many nowadays has been rise up in the altcoins, and majority of the member's too know that there only few altcoins are legit actually. And those legit coins are worth buying for anyhow.

Just make sure you check your sources and print from a clean box...and keep that piece of paper safe. Web, exchange; anything out of your hands is extremely likely to be compromised over a physical medium (assuming you're practicing safe storage methods).

To Rutdam: ETH, XMR, NXS, UIS (risk) - basically anything with high volume on the exchanges - just make sure you don't buy in during a big rise. Catch the dip

Resorting to stock images instead:
At least post a picture of the single server you're running, from which you transfer noob's deposits to other noob's 'payout' addresses...
Even your about us page lists a bunch of info about how awesome your setup is. So why not a single shred of proof?
This is another example as to why people should stay away from 'cloud mining'. Deposit BTC, receive fractions until the site decides they've made enough & subsequently shuts down.

Update on bootstrap:
I moved the file to the Halloween directory, loaded the program, and (as expected) the file was changed to bootstrap.dat.old - yet I'm still just as far behind as I was before (and still have coins hanging in limbo, made a withdraw few days ago).
Any other clues?
Should I just try re-installing from scratch (save wallet.dat)?

OK, here is what I did. I shut down the wallet, went to the Halloween folder, and deleted everything except the wallet.dat, Halloween.conf, and the bootstrap.dat files.
I restarted the wallet and it began to load the bootstrap.dat file.
It finished loading the file about 3 hours later and began the final sync to catch up to the blockchain which took another 45 minutes to an hour.
After that, it was fully synced.
Of course the final sync will take a bit longer as time goes on because the blockchain is always moving, but not too much though.
Let me know if you have any more problems.

You missed the swap bro...check back in the thread, not sure where. But we're running on a new chain now, everyone had a (long) chance to switch out their espers 1 for espers 2
