I’d want people to learn on their own so they can confidently study charts and know when and how to trade. If you are a Pakistani or Indian then I’d suggest you to go to YouTube and search for “sincere teacher” lectures.

Re: is it worth doing something which cannot earn you money?

My philosophy of life is that no matter what you do, there is always a cause and effect. Whether you just lay in bed all day or become a country’s president. As far as your question is concerned, I’d say that if not money then there are other things you might be earning for example experience, good deeds, knowledge or something else. I can bet all of my crypto that one day in life all of this will come in handy when you have to make money. Everything is interconnected in life. Whether a grain of sand that makes you rub your eyes when it gets inside or the storms that cause havoc but give rise to a beautiful sun rise.

First, let me introduce myself, here's a Video profile showing what I do in BlockChain world.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=aC-2av5d9lU

Almost a year back, I posted that I am starting a platform having proof of stake, Masternode based Coin, first named oui, then we decided to call it TENUP, I would like to thank bitcointalk as when I wanted to start, I just had a rough idea but majority of the team that you see on own website are people who approached me after seeing my charity work using BlockChain in warzone areas, so here it is www.tenup.io

so finally, me and my friends made a good community, presented this platform at different conferences from BlockShow Europe to LA Token's conference in SF, USA, now posting tutorial for everyone,

We are planning to hit the exchanges in December 2018, there were many who asked so many questions when I started this topic and some supported the idea, please have a look at the final product, I will be starting Air Drop, ANN page for this, its a fork of Pivx Coin and all details are in the whitepaper, Telegram community is also growing , Wallets runnings, Masternodes running, please have a look at the following video and share are we guiding in an easy way ?

Looking forward for your positive feedback so we can improve before we launch Airdrop, ANN page and launching it on Exchange, please do contact if you want to be part of Tenup

There are a few things I’d like to point out. First the team looks legit and well designated in their fields. I’ve seen the charitable work you’ve done, so it can be said that you  work a lot for the betterment for other. Another thing to note is the innovation idea of you and your community arebringing can have an ever lasting affect on Pakistan’s economy and it could potentially boost its own currency’s value, if it legalised crypto and blockchain based platforms. I hope the best for you and TenUp.

TenUp seems like a good project. I’d very much be interested to participate in its airdrop and become a part of it.

You can take the money. Deposit in your bank. Use any exchange to buy bitcoin from. Use ATM machines in the USA to buy bitcoin using just cash. Exchanges can be Coinbase, Binance, Bittrex, Stocks.exchange, tradesatoshi.com or whichever suits you.

Hello admins,

As you can see my activity is more than 30, which is required for anyone to become a junior member. However, it has become newbie rank. I don’t understand why this has happened. Has the ranking system changed? do I need to appeal for my rank? What do I do?

Kindly, someone help me out with this query. I don’t know what to do.

Thanks.
Yes it changed. Here read it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030366.0 it will help you to understand the new ranking system now.

Thank you very much for this. I didn’t know about this.

I think you don’t get that I became a junior member and then I became a newbie again. Why? I’ve never come across this happening to anyone.

Do you remember the post that was deleted?

You'll only get banned if you break a forum rule.

Yes. I posted it again and then no one removed it. It’s weird.
What's that post?

Is that a new topic that you posted/thread?  maybe you posted it on the wrong section or your post simply is off-topic.

It was “land of engineers: Pakistan”
When have you posted the other posts? I see this post you made --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4879797.msg43952894#msg43952894

So if you just posted a new one, it was probably deleted because of thread duplication.

When I posted it the first time, it got deleted. Then I posted it twice and none of them got deleted. That’s why I said it’s weird.

Depending on where you live, you can buy gift cards of huge supermarkets or for stores that sell computers and other electronics. I live in England so I use giftoff where you can buy Tesco’s gift cards and in Tesco you have a very huge range of PCs and Laptops.

The blockchain technology at this stage can be compared to the internet at its early stages, where mass adoption was also an issue. The internet was actually invented in 1969 but didn't get adopted until the 1990s, even then it wasn't accessible to everybody. But it has now become a necessity in every industry and for everybody worldwide.
The blockchain technology is at its infancy stage and it is already making innovations in different industries. Though there are a lot of restrictions against it presently and some nations do not want to adopt it, but it is not a technology that can be stopped and it will surely gain mass adoption with time.

What is your opinion about the blockchain technology?

I think the theory; blockchain will live on just like any other innovation for example internet. However for the mass adoption there needs to a demand from every second person even if not every single person. Just like how internet works. One of the important factors is the internet of our youth. Just like internet, a lot of blockchain innovation have and will occur where the product is demanded by youth as the audience.

Hello Admins and dear users,

I don’t have some knowledge about this forum and how it works but recently I had a post deleted because I might have posted in a section where I shouldn’t have. I try to read as much as I can to learn about bitcointalk but the thing is that I don’t know what happens if another post of mine gets deleted. A friend of mine told me that if I get two posts deleted then my account will be banned. Is it true? Can I appeal for it to unban if it gets banned?

Kindly, help because these questions are confusing me. I have tried googling them but nothing came up that could clear my mind.

Thanks!

Re: POW vs. POS
by
Asadali569
on 21/09/2018, 06:52:49 UTC
I definitely think that proof-of-work is going to be phased out soon, though proof-of-stake isn't much better, they all require specialist hardware in order to run their networks, which is not something we should implement for later generation blockchains, a waste of energy can't be the best way to secure a blockchain. I notice that the major blockchains are starting to shift towards POS as it's definitely more environmentally friendly than POW, but it also increases centralization and the risk of a vector based attack so we should look for even better alternatives in future.

No way. There are exactly 0, zero other coins out there that can outperform Bitcoin's pure PoW approach specially as a store of value, and probably not any of these other projects, be it PoS, or any of the more exotic variations, may not deliver a better solution than a second layer solution on top of Bitcoin's POW blockchain when it comes to day to day payments.

Some are trying hard and they will basically be competing against Bitcoin's LN. Will you trust their project above LN to pay for a coffee? will you even bother going into another token at all? that we'll have to see.

Lets not get too complacent.  I remember a time when myspace was the dominant social platform, I remember a time when VHS was the preferred media format, I remember a time when the simpsons was still a good show.

The point is lets not pretend that a new coin won't come along in the future and dethrone bitcoin.

You are completely right. I was having a same discussion with a colleague of mine about this the other day. The thing I see happening is that because bitcoin was the first ever implementation of blockchain technology, it is has gained a lot of fame and money. The fact that there are several coins/tokens out there, far better than bitcoin, people won’t actually want to convert to bitcoin as they have created their own cryptos.

I strongly believe that some other coin will dethrone bitcoin sooner or later. It might not actually dethrone it but it’s impact night greatly impact the value of bitcoin negatively.

Feels a bit late to sell an asset after loosing like 1000$ per ETH hehe so now is the time to HODL again, time to sell has been the last 8 months. At this point we are just as likley to see some upgrades to eth and perhaps a reversing of the falling trend as we are likely to see further drops.

GL & HF

Completely agreed.

All to do with whales and those who are selling in panic are reducing the price. Rules and regulations also have a role to play in this.
