Re: [NEWS] GCrypto is now available to selected users

I saw the original post na nasa loob ng article complaining na ang taas ng bawas ng gcash sa pag convert ng peso to btc. Madaming speculations about dun like the spread , fees , etc. I don't know if totoo yung 5% fee nila pero if legit man yun ehhh napakalaki nun and marami naman tayong options to use kaya nakapag tataka na bago palang ang crypto feature nila is ganito na agad kalaki yung fee nila. I never see myself using this service even na active gcash user ako. I always prefer my own way of storing and buying btc.
Same thoughts. 5% fee for every swap is sobrang sakit talaga kahit na small volume lang yung iiswap mo is ramdam na ramdam mo yung spread what more if malakihan pa since madaming gusto mag invest sa crypto pero di marunong gumamit ng Binance or any other exchange may tendency na Gcash nalang ang gamitin nila and pagkaswap palang nila lugi na sila.

Re: holding is not an easy thing

this brings me to the question of maybe holding is for the rich who can afford to buy and forget. ?
I personally think no. Anyone can buy and forget it just varies with the amount. Of course, the riches will surely have bigger holdings and won't have any problem on where they will get the money tomorrow to continue living. It all comes down to discipline and budget planning. Me personally I don't earn that big anymore but I still able to hold some BTC, ETH, and some top coins right now without the problem of thinking about how can I sustain my daily needs tomorrow. Allocate budget smartly on things you are spending, invest what you can afford to lose, cryptocurrency is a high-risk high reward type of investment you can earn more than 100x of your money in the long run and it doesn't matter how big or small your holding is.

A balanced time for trading/health improvement is a must for us and we should understand and always be mindful that health is more valuable than wealth. Don't stare at the PC and charts for so long go exercise your body and also improve your mental health as suicide due to trading is a real thing. Protecting our capital and keeping good health is the best combo to a healthy trading career.

How to get rid of gambling addiction?
Charge to experience, you already know and experienced what will happen if you can't stop your urge to gamble. Self-control and discipline will be your friend in order to get rid of gambling addiction. Don't let your urge to win back your money take over you take the loss and step out if you know you can't control your gambling habbit.

Isn't it true 80 percent of traders lose then?
This is real. Approximately only 3% of traders are the one that is profitable and actually earns money from trading stocks or crypto. But don't get discouraged if you are starting at trading because you can be one of that 3% if you know what you are doing.

For me yes. Trading can be considered as an occupation because there are certain requirements to be a trader and there is profit involve plus there are already tons of people who are happily sitting on their couch earning more money than other people who work in the corporate industry. But always remember that trading is not for everyone, there is more nonprofitable trader than profitable traders.

Re: Recovering losses

Also I was thinking of selling a piece of  land I own, buy some bitcoin and keep it safe in hardware wallet, not trade with it.
This isn't advisable but worth the risk for me if I were in this situation because we already see how bitcoin pumps over the years.

My advice about your trading journey is to take a break but don't stop learning. Stop trading for a while go study more and then come back stronger. And having a change in your mindset will be a great thing. Never be in the mindset of recovering losses after a losing trade because you will surely lose more. Just accept the loss and forget it no matter how big it or small it is always start with a fresh mindset before you do each trade.

Re: I'm wondering who trades with paid signals?

Yes, there are many people who are willing to pay money to join VIP signal groups from veteran traders. The most famous one I know is DMan from blockchain whisper telegram. Personally I am not a fan of this type of groups but I am a member of few of them to have more insight in more different coins and some opening projects.

Very bullish news for bitcoin 🚀. Adaption is here, after Elon's announcement not only a few days after Paypal also release news that they opened crypto payments in 29M merchants. Bitcoin is getting stronger and now more institutions are using bitcoin for their businesses. Let's keep holding!

Re: Nicole wants to give up her taxi in exchange for bitcoin
by

A popular taxi owner in my neighborhood(Nicole) has decided to give up her taxi in exchange for bitcoin. This is a recent development that actually caused reserved comments from other residents of the same neighbor hood. I was of the opinion that she rather source for funds from other means other than giving up her taxi but her mind was already made up. Could this be a brilliant decision or did she act without caution?
A decision like this I think isn't advisable at all. It is just like all of a sudden you wanna go all-in on something and have no backup plan at all. Investing in bitcoin is a really good investment don't get me wrong the only not smart move here is having no extra source of income and just straight up going all-in on bitcoin.

Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling
by

on 25/03/2021, 12:07:19 UTC
I think gambling specially in dice is a combination of both fate and self-control. You may have the day when you are winning consecutive rolls but you got greedy and don't have an exit point where you must withdraw letting excitement take over your decisions thinking you can win more if you continue to play. We are all destined to lose in gambling it is just how we plan to get out in profit that will help us win.

Me I'm not really a competitive one. Because for me the pressure of thinking about the rankings in such tournaments will make me do some decisions I would not normally do when I am betting solely on myself that may cause me some trouble if it didn't play out well.

However, this kind of advertisement will attract more players to deposit to their webaite if they see they are able to win huge like that of stremear.
This happens but not to all people. Smart gamblers will always think about what will actually happen or might happen if they deposited and play on the website, people who know how really gambling works will not go in and deposit right away just because they saw someone winning chunks of money on the said site.

The only question that I am confused with is that, what if the streamer won huge using that lent bank roll? Will they give him additional payment?
From what I've seen from many YouTubers that I watch who is being sponsored into various websites AFAIK they get to keep less than 5% of the amount they won. But surely it depends on the contract between the site owner and the content creator.

Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site?
by

XRP, BNB, and TRX might be the answer to high fees. By far those 3 coins offer the lowest fees and fastest ( base on my personal experience on withdrawing from various exchanges/making transactions using the said 3 coins). Or just adding straight-up stable coins like USDT and BUSD might help too.

That's a beefy amount for fees alone I can't tell if that's a mistake or intentional maybe the sender really was in kind of a hurry because with such high fees his transaction will surely be prioritized and confirmed faster than normal 100Sat/byte is really big. But if this was a mistake I think miners who have mined the transaction can help with the sender's problem.

Re: Where would you sell if you had bought 10 Bitcoin at $100?

If I happen to buy 10 bitcoins at $100 each I would be convinced to sell at the $1k mark. You might ask why? because in my opinion we really don't know how far bitcoin can go and for how long it will stay alive since when bitcoin was at the $100 mark only a few people use it compared to now.

Re: BTC seems to be fading out and loosing popularity.
by
Astvile

I disagree that bitcoin is fading out and losing popularity right now, every day there are big institutions buying up bitcoin and many more investors come to invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin is going strong day by day.

There can be various reasons why they think it is late for investing in bitcoin given the current price right now. Maybe they are afraid that events like the 2017 crash after the bull run might happen again. Investing in other crypto is not a bad decision either there are a lot of coins that have great potentials it really depends on their strategy. But for me, I think investing in bitcoin at this price is not a bad decision at all we just need to hit the right timing on buying.
