Re: The future for BTC in 2018 and other coins/ tokens etc
by

on 05/02/2018, 10:48:50 UTC
Morning,
With banks and countries clamping down on crypto, some in the UK even blocking purchases of crypto, do you think that this could be the beginning of the end?

I assume BTC is the daddy and all others circulate around this?

Just a thought? What's your's?

I'm going to buy BTC and ETH in the next few weeks as they are just falling....

Not all banks and credit cards are closing doors for bitcoin. Which tells me bitcoin will survive, exchanges are working which is good. If you take a closer look at previous big fall few years back you will notice that there was just like 1 exchange. If not all countries are banning btc you don't have to worry about anything. Even localbitcoins could be potentially last place where you would want to trade. The only thing is if countries ban and prohibit the use of bitcoin,  but even then you could start dark net market where bitcoin or any other coin would be accepted.

This is very good post, sadly I don't have any merit to give you. But yeah why would we need to give our private information if we don't want to.ive heard that some bounties will ask you at the end for your info in order to get your coins. Hopefully not many of them do this.

Re: What to do for a newbie
by

on 26/01/2018, 09:35:03 UTC
I am a newbie and honestly didn’t know at first what to do with my account. I was disabled once,  pay a small amount of bitcoin to lift my disabled status. But now again I am disabled what should I do?  Huh Need some advice and guidance. It is really a big help for a newbie like me to get an idea how to avoid being disabled stat.
Thank you for those who can share their piece of advice and guidance.

If you were disabled and charged some small amount when you have created an account, then it is probably better cause you are login in or because you have created your account from an IP address that somebody else used the same IP to spam or to simply put malicious links etc. This can happen if you tried to us some free vpn if you are sure this is first time for you here.

Re: How would I know if the Token Symbol is right?
by
Avispeat
on 25/01/2018, 09:07:33 UTC
Hi Everyone,

I have a Token with a name of ERC20-TOKEN  EtherDelta Token, Then the Token symbol is EDT and with a Contract Address of 0x9f2def9e711b59172958e5076601059a0a89d6a2,
And there is a lot of Token that has the same symbol with EDT and there is a token symbol of EDT appearing in blockfolio,
Now the Question is how would i know if the token symbol in the blockfolio is right?

Have you tried to put that contract address onto etherscan.io?  When you pit it there it should tell what coin have you bought exactly. Maybe pairs are called the same on the exchange but every one of them should have different name.

Re: 💥💥[Bounty] Bitcloud BTDX Signature + Avatar Campaign, Jr.Members+ [OPEN]💥💥
by

UPDATE

There's been a big change to the forum. "Merit" has been added where people can Merit posts in threads and in turn this Merit decides what rank you are. This means posts no longer count towards ranking up (I believe).
Additionally the Jr. Member rank has been removed so now you'll go from Newbie to Member. This in turn means that all Jr. Members have been demoted to Newbies and as such we'll have to remove the Jr. Member rank from this signature campaign. I'm still trying to gather all information regarding this but it should mean that: All Jr. Members will be removed from the campaign (It does not make much sense having newbies in the campaign, not a lot of signature space etc.) and I'll most likely compensate this with adding more spots for Members/Full. Members/Sr. Members. Stay tuned to know how it'll all turn out!

So I guess that I am not able to participate in this campaign?  I noticed today that my signature has changed without me changing anything. At least thank you for this update! Smiley

Such a shame some people don't want to earn their own money but instead resort to stealing other people's money.

It's easy to trick new investors sadly because they don't know good this crypto field. Many just go blinded by money without investigating what's behind each platform and what are their plans etc.

Thanks OP, at least when somebody does Google search he will end up to this page.

Re: Cryptocurrency Banks: needed?
by

on 24/01/2018, 16:51:25 UTC
To me primary thing why cryptocurrency exist is to cut of the middle man. But these crypto banks are quite opposite of what crypto agenda should be, in my opinion. They are there to make profit, although I don't say that your investment should not be profitable if they are some well known crypto bank they could potentially get you nice profit. But I tend not to touch things I don't want to be in our future, that's why I personally wouldn't invest.

Re: Why people try to create their own coins?
by

on 24/01/2018, 16:48:16 UTC
The main purpose of making coins is to get a profit. I very rarely meet projects that have a real product useful for community. Most of the coins are created for speculation and in order to make the project team rich.

I agree with you, if we take a closer look at these ICOs for instance they are existing mostly for profit, they do not offer anything outstanding that they will require their own token. I guess all of them should do something like KU shares and similar tokens to give bonuses to investors. Other than that to have real use on their platform is not what they should go for. Because who on earth will keep up which coin to buy to use certain service? I'd tell you, nobody.

Re: 2018 good year or bad year for Cryptocurrency ?
by
Avispeat
on 23/01/2018, 08:45:40 UTC
2018 is a good year for BTC and other cryptocurrencIra. We will see amazing BTC prices this year. This early year price slump is only a detection. I hope to be here to remind us all at the end of the year.
yes, maybe you call it with detection, but I rate this is a bad record of the crypto world in 2018, I've never seen such a sharp decline before now. and I also believe that 2018 is a good year for crypto. we will see from mid to late 2018.

You can't expect prices to rais dramatically and to quickly at the speed bitcoin went till 20k last month, of course people are going to take a profit and take it consideration new investors who did they job at panic selling. If you look at the charts you may see that it wouldn't even surprise you if price went back till like 7-8k anything below that would be painful to watch. But we don't know how this whole thing will behave. For the long run I guess we are or should be safe but you never know.

That is not correct. Coinomi supports ERC20 tokens. https://medium.com/@coinomi/the-number-278-53f745594b51

Yes they have support for  dapps, maybe this guy haven't seen this as you need to scroll, when you click on ethereum you just have to slide till last right and above it should state dApps,  they are not called ERC20 tokens.

ERC20 tokens are simply smart contracts and they can be called dApps because of this, because they are. ERC20 is just a current standard that is put there for tokens.

I don't know the whole story but these DT members seem to have huge power in their hands and can ruin other people accounts and there's no turning back. Ranking takes time and is a very slow process and when these fellas give negative feedback just like that I can only hope I won't be the next victim.

We launch ICO, one project.

We want to check whether the market is ready to accept the product. All discussions in the topic.

The volume of the market is $ 14 billion a year.
There is a working model.
There are no analogues, the product solves the real problem.

You need to provide us with more information about your ICO. Market today is ready I'd say because when you look at how many ICOs are lunching and are going to lunch is huge. It all depends on what are you trying to achieve, what problem are you looking to solve. I am sorry but can't really say much more as you don't want to say what are your ICO be about.

Out of those I'd chose sia because it provides decentralized storage, although I don't like the idea that you have to transfer your money to sia to be able to use their network but that's how it works.

I was always ok with bittrex until they introduced the new verification things but don't worry, I'm sure that everyone will receive the coins cause bittrex hardly fails.

Yeah they introduced that and locked your coins and then ask for basic verification and tell you you still need to send them IDs if you want your money back... Plus their tickets takes ages, I font know about ignis but it think they won't even give it to people, they are to greedy and there are better exchanges out there now.

Re: +3accounts = wallet

on 18/01/2018, 16:53:06 UTC
My friends and me are using one computer.
Since we are room mates, one has a job and two are going to school,
And we open our account after office and school hours
we have one account each and we have one wallet only and planning to join only one campaign after we reach Jr. Member as our rank,

Is there a tendency we are going to banned?

Need advice,,,TY

It is allowed to have multiple accounts at least to my knowledge, but DON'T SARE THE PRIVATE KEYS with other people, wtf man? Idea of crypto is that nobody have access to your funds. Simply download an mobile wallet app or generate paper wallets for each.

If you are planning to join same campaign its like abusing it when you type same address for 2 accounts I think you can get banned for that. Your story sounds more that you own more than 1 account... There are people who will add red trust be careful what are you doing.

I don't think anything on this board can entice me to go all in. The trust in new projects is never 100% for me.

Having in mind that new projects don't have long trading chart it is high risk to go all in. Although if you are really serious you may want to go all in but I don't know if anyone will advise you to do that. Better devirstify your portfolio.

Re: Crypto Bloodbath..
by
Avispeat
on 16/01/2018, 08:56:14 UTC
There is no bloodbath. Only a normal correction. Who has just a little experience in forex knows this.

Lack of investment into cryptos, banning of traders, exchangers in Korea, a long holiday gap and and the price value are the reasons for the whole market price being in red. But, they are resuming now as per coinmarketcap.com data.

I am sure the market will boom again soon. As we predicted, we can still expect bitcoin rate and other altcoins rate go up in few days.

It's just to many new traders who don't understand how prices move here, nothing else like bad news I'd say. When you have many people entering and when they see quick buck they are scared to hold their coins as there are a lot of talks about this being a bubble,  which can be true on its own but seeing this like every time we are ignorant on that claim, which has as a result they are selling to take profits. Always goes like this.

No please, don't do that. You will get caught someday and DT members will red tag your account for sure. The only way is make your own account and wait.

According to the forum rules, buying/selling accounts isn't prohibited but is discouraged.

You are right about that, but DT members are against it. Account sales encourage spam, account farming and others shady behavior.

How will they notice and who gives them right, who are those DT members, sound like bullies we should all be afraid of. Sorry but don't get who are they, first time I hear about them.
