Once again, another articulate post with good suggestions from some of the commenters here.  There have many such postings with good suggestions over the past several weeks/months.  Unfortunately it doesn't appear that suggestions are really wanted here.  Apparently placating investors isn't important here.  Detailed answers aren't found here either.  I doubt any of that will change.

No kidding!  It's not like people want to mistrust the developers or hate this project.  I figured this thing couldn't miss when I bought into the ICO.  But here we are over 6 months later and we have no usable exchange with any volume (counterparty dex sucks!), we have no advertising of the project other than twitter, we have no hard answers to legitimate questions, so on and so on.  I would love to be proven wrong about this project, but right now it's looking really bad.  You can only pull the football away from Charlie Brown so many times before he stops trying to kick it.

I'm guessing they were planning to run it until their contract with sportsradar, etc are done and then they turn the lights off, or as you said, just claim all the wallets got hacked.  Who knows?  But by now the project has not only lost momentum, it has lost good will and confidence of many, many investors. 

Seriously, you guys either need to get the exchange going so people can move on or you need to refund our money.  Hell, you can even shut everything down and disappear.  I just want something final here. 

Sounds like all the more reason why we'll probably never see XFC traded anywhere but on the DigitalTokens exchange.  Well, assuming the exchange eventually gets here.  I'm certainly not convinced so far.

I find it hilarious that cryptokitties has about 10x as many twitter followers as Footballcoin.  Football might be the most popular sport in the world, but apparently it's not nearly as interesting as digital cats being sold at outrageous prices.   

Absolutely perfect!  It's like that scene was written for this project.

The screen shots of the exchange look nice, but unfortunately it doesn't seem like it will happen this month.  I'm sure when 12/1 arrives and there is still no new blockchain or exchange, the disappointment and frustration in this project will hit a new level that will surpass the previous levels of disappointment and frustration that we have experienced for six months.

Unfortunately I doubt anyone will ever make much money on this project.  Although the game graphics might be good, the investor confidence and mood is low already based on the long wait and poor updates.  And it's doubtful that the coin will ever appear on any exchanges with significant volume.  While I would have enjoyed seeing it share the same success as No Limit Coin, I seriously doubt that will happen. 

While I'm glad to hear that the blockchain and exchange may finally launch this month, I still don't think this will be enough to improve the coin's price significantly.  I seriously doubt Digital Tokens will ever have much trading volume.  Until the coin is available on a medium sized exchange with some decent volume, there won't be much to celebrate.

The new blockchain will probably already be mined and it's doubtful that there will be any airdrops, rewards, etc of any kind or they would have said so by now.  And while Footballcoin may have better graphics than NoLimitCoin and should certainly increase in value over time, I doubt it will ever surpass the success of NoLimitCoin, which has multiple sports, lots of advertising/buzz, and also has known team members as well as former pro athletes taking part in the project.

Unfortunately I believe you are correct.  It appears that the ICO investors were duped in what was likely a cash grab.  The developers posted a promising roadmap and made claims that they were already making plans with the big exchanges to be listed directly after ICO.  However, as soon as they got the ICO funds, they became extremely vague with all their answers and continue to be that way with every communication.  Even after encountering unexpected problems, an honest and legitimate project would provide an updated roadmap with a general timeline of new anticipated actions.  However, they clearly have no intention of doing this and it should be obvious to everyone by now that you will most likely not be able to trade this coin or cash out this year, and possibly never.  I would love to be proven wrong regarding all of this, but I don't think that's going to happen.  My condolences to all of those people who invested in this ICO like I did and have now realized that most of the promises that were made were lies. 

Unfortunately I doubt the coin will trade on any good exchanges this year.  If the team was very close to releasing the new blockchain, they would have already told us.  Instead they remain secretive, only saying it's being tested, and give us no time table for its completion.  This is the most disappointing ICO of the year in my opinion.  Not because of the game itself, but because of the ICO promises that were not kept. 

Although I am not an official representative of Footballcoin, I can probably guess how they would answer your question.  "The new blockchain is in the testing phase.  The exchange will be available after the blockchain is ready, but we cannot disclose an exact time when it will be ready yet.  But when it is released, it will make all your wildest dreams come true.  Thank you for your patience."  So basically, it will probably finished sometime between now and January.   

Yes, NLC2 is a great example of what could have been for Footballcoin if it was available for the beginning of the football season and listed on several exchanges.  They have a better product than NLC2 without a doubt, so I hope they are very close to releasing the new blockchain and exchange.   

I don't even understand why there would be a debate about the right time to launch.  As soon as the new blockchain and exchange is working, that is the time to launch, and not a second later.  The game has been working for months so there's absolutely no reason to keep hiding this thing.  Make the new XFCcoin available for purchasing and trading as soon as possible and begin advertising the hell out of footballcoin so non-crypto fans will realize it actually exists!

Unfortunately you are not alone in your disappointment with this project.  The idea of football manager and crypto was certainly good, but some of the promises made in the ICO have not been carried out and it is still unclear when the coin will be available on an exchange with good volume so that the people who want to exit this project can move on, hopefully at least with a small profit.     

Zerohedge is where I saw it too.  I was very surprised.  I hope to see more footballcoin ads in the near future.  No pressure guys, but I need to make enough money off my footballcoin investment to buy that private island full of shallow, misguided women that I've always wanted.      If anyone is offended by that, then I say good!!   

I recently saw a footballcoin ad too.  But I'm betting it won't hit any additional exchanges until next year.  When I hear "long term project", I don't expect anything else this year.

So the ICO ended weeks ago and over 1000 bitcoins were raised at that time, but Cryptodao is now the only exchange that is being seriously considered by the developers???  That makes no sense at all!!  Noone will bother to purchase this coin on that exchange, especially with all the allegations of theft that have happened there in the last few months.   The value will be totally destroyed.
