Sinle rules for everybody - is IPO and regulated market.

ICO is absolutely free and rules are established by each team for own project. You could accept it or not.

Vinni`s project could be too risky and ambitios but their PR-activity quite effective

All the original sin is that go into the threshold of ICO is too low!

Nonsense, it was open to many people. There is no "right way" to launch an ICO. It's what comes of the product/team in the months and years that really matters.

It was open to those who know about their ICO. There is no problem with it. That is Civic's ICO style. In the same way that there are free airdrops that are not really free at all. Each his own way.

Indeed, the truth of the matter is their project's prospects in the future and how they would end up faring. But for now, Civic's doing real good in the market. Pumping right now.

I’m an investor in Ripple and many other Fintech companies, and I also explored why Civic is one of the successful ICO, it's gimmicks more than connotation.

Same could be said of other so called ICO's.

But it is a free market, people are free to do stupid things or even give up their freedom.

in this sense, there isn't un-freedom in the world, beside crime. all thing are people do is in voluntarily.

i think the "North Korean style" in the article is mean that the Civic set a variety of gimmicks to promopt the ICO, and meanwhile Civic set a variety ofbarrier to prevent people who seduced by their gimmicks from buying. like a slut much.

LakeBanker CSO: Civic’s ICO was ‘North Korean style’

“We can't disagree more about Civic's token distribution methods,” LakeBanker CSO Dr. Andrew Joseph McCarthy explained to Cointelegraph. “LakeBanker and Civic have nothing in common in this regard.”

“To us, their approach is North Korean style. This is due to several factors,”

“An arbitrary fixed price is set, which is not the market price. A bunch of rules are set to stop people from purchasing their tokens. Many limits are just random numbers without much logic or data to support them. This is not a free market.”

I wish you ask this question in 5 years ago, then I would tell you that just buy bitcoins and forget your bitcoins. until after 10 years, you take your bitcoins back, you will be the richest man in the world.

but now, bitcoin met the risk of spilt, and the price is not cheaper for a student, you may can buy 1-2 BTC or more, but it will affect your life quality.

interesting mission, if it was successful, it may make the bank disappear from this earth.

but, so many other companies also claim to launch a revolution with bank, such as Alipay. however, Alipay eventually had to admit to the bank, and lose.

how do you think LakeBanker will avoid the control of government? Or, as far as possible not against any government's policy.

another problem is that if there is a fraudster to be your banker, he will just run once he received the funds, what should you do?

you may have its own personal authentication information, however this is not only a credit problem, the key point is the money have gone.

so I think this is too early to decentralized the banking authority, because it must be built in a credit world.

no trading advice, please check here

don't trade for a year!

this strategy is really useful, if you trust Bitcoin, please never trade and just buy buy buy, keep and hold them, look for a right opportunity to dump! (such as now)

Yeah a lot of people already made big money from holding for years quite like with btc userd from then. And though now may be a good opportunity to dump, i'd still choose to hold. Who knows what may happen in the next few years, the forecasts are promising for the future of btc.

what do you mean "run out"?

23 million have been mined? never worried, unless everyone hoards his own bitcoins, if it happened, bitcoin is dead.

why does anyone prefer to withdraw usd? I think withdraw btc is better, low fee and fast.
certainly you can do that. but eventually you have to transfer btc into usd for shopping or business, not so much people like our imagination in this world who support Bitcoins. so anyway, you can only use the dollar finally, why would you pay a extra withdrawals fee?

beacuse I hope faster, and now more and more retailers and online shops are accepting bitcoins.
