Re: The biggest problem of altcoins
by
Biasaae
on 26/07/2018, 04:46:34 UTC
....is their complete dependancy of Bitcoin. It really takes all the fun out of crypto trading.

No matter what kind of awesome progress some altcoins make....it doesn't change the trend upwards if Bitcoin doesn't allow it.

Pump and dump groups I also blame. Because of them I'm very positive that Bitcoin won't make it past 30 000 this year. 50 000 to 80 000 would be realistic without pump and dump groups dominating and controlling the prices.

Anyways, these things have to change somehow. The first altcoin developers who claim their absolute freedom from Bitcoin will be the real winners of this crypto game.

The current market all depends on the price of Bitcoin, where the stability of bitcoin will affect all altcoin prices.
But, maybe in the near future we will see a different situation, starting a lot of coins with projects and sophisticated technology.

So guys, what do you think about investing in different icos? I think it's a good idea. We never know which will take the lead in the future. Please help me and give me good suggestions!

Why do not we try to invest in other altcoin? I agree with you.
It would not hurt us to try who knows we got diamonds, many investors hesitate and nobody dares to try other options.
They seem to be still hesitant to get results in can yield little from coins other than bitcoin.

Re: Is Monero a Good Investment?
by
Biasaae
on 25/07/2018, 03:23:15 UTC
Dear bitcoin community,

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.

Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

I deeply appreciate your contribution on this thread.

I'm sure, Monero is a good altcoin for investing today. On one hand, Monero is a coin that is one of the oldest coins in the trading market today.
For the other hand, free mining for everyone, no matter who it is, all can easily have. Everyone can participate in this, not just for certain mining.

Why invest in altcoin when you can invest in real estate, stock market?

To be honest, it's not good to have a single coin investment in crypto because it's too risky. I have bitcoin and the rest is altcoin, and it gives a lot of advantages than just having one coin. The amount of altcoin will give us a lot of choices and we must be very careful about it or if not, you might lose all your money.

Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin.

I started to like crypto and being an enthusiast with it lately. I had read many articles around in the internet and found some good attributes regarding on the  different kinds of crypto in the crypto market. And i found out that ethereum is a platform which also supports mostly of the altcoins being introduce by  its mean using ICO. Conducting a project from the crowds budget and in return from the contributions are the giving of tokens instead. And afterwards the tokens will be used in an exchange they prefer to partner with. That is why i am taking credit to ether as best crypto next to bitcoin because of the platforms being used by most of the crypto as well. What do you think? isn't it ether is the best crypto?

I disagree, to this day bitcoin is a very good investment coin, especially for beginners in the crypto world.
Bitcoin will still have good potential and a team of professionals who develop the technology with excellent speed.
So, it's still hard to replace bitcoin.

What's more better,Firstly token listing in exchanger and than distribution token or distribution token before listing in exchanger?

I would prefer a distributed token first. Because then, some cheap tokens that are sold before the release will be purchased first.
So that way, most likely the opening price will be quite high, at least close to ico price.

Re: The New Era? Are we the lucky ones?
by

Who else believes that this is the era where everyone who is investing in cryptocurrencies has chances of becoming wealthier than the average person?
After all we are taking all the risk, and only 1% of the world's population actually invests rather than knowing about it.
Growing up I always believed there was a time everyone would become wealthier and smarter with the flourishing technology. Who else agrees with me and HODLs.
Drop any good advice in learning more about altcoins and projects.

Yes, I agree. I think our generation today is a very lucky generation. Although, everything has not gone well, but still, there's still time to keep on growing. The opportunity to make money can now go online, and conventional means will soon be abandoned.

Re: How to protect your altcoin

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

To protect altcoin, you must stop clicking suspicious links, and always be careful about foreign URLs before logging in. Be also wary of fake emails and do not click on any emails coming to you. The point is that whatever you doubt should not be opened. This is all because there are a lot of scammers and hackers out there to get your private key.

Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do?
by
Biasaae
on 22/07/2018, 08:04:29 UTC
Long time holding is a smart thing to do as far as crypto currency is concern. I have realize that, investors try to play smart in the crypto business in that, they begin to dump most tokens to cause a decline in token prices. This will in turn pave way for them to buy more tokens in other for them to hold for long and sell at higher prices when token values shoot up. In spite of this, is long term holding a smart thing to do as a bounty hunter and why?

Token may not be big in a short time. Btc and Eth also took several years to become a giant. Probably not all tokens will have big increases in the future, but if we hold 10 tokens and one becomes very big, that possibility is enough to make a profit.

It feels like it's this time of the year again for the bullish market. Not sure if it's gonna the same as last year though. But many will recover. Whaddya think?

It's just a matter of time, I want to believe that the coin market is over and we are entering a growing trend.
Of course, we're not going to reach the end of 2017, but if we bid around 10 thousand it's a good deal in this situation.

Good question, to awaken everyone so as not to be easily trapped and deceived from any instant investment.
Because no results are obtained without a real process.
Lately too many ICO projects are cheating, so do not use all your money to make a profit in the world of crypto.

Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?

I do not think that in the next few years there will be such projects that will be better than bitcoin and ETH. These coins are already very popular around the world, and new projects will be very difficult to attract people's attention, even if it will take a lot of time or may fail.

i was thinking to sell my bitcoins and buy ethereum what do you thinkl guys

I advise you not to change all your money in ethereum. It would be better if your money is divided into coins or different investments.
Remember that putting hope on one thing has a lot of risk. We will never know what will happen in the future, so you better think again wisely.

Re: Cryptocurrency to be accepted in shops by 2025?
by
Biasaae
on 19/07/2018, 15:55:39 UTC

Yes, there is a relationship between the two. If you want to buy coins on the market or ICO, you can not use paper money, the only way to get it is to trade through both. Bitcoin is the controller of market prices, a benchmark for market stability, while altcoin is a follower, so naturally the health of bitcoin has a major effect on the life of crypto.

Is there any relationship between the two?
Whh must the fall of bitcoin after other altcoins?

This is always the case, and it has always been the most bizarre news that most of us make us panic. From my view, that bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrencies and dominates all altcoins, therefore bitcoin supremacy moves them in determining market prices, this means that when bitcoins are stable, they do the same and vice versa.

Re: Favorite Coin for 2018?
by
Biasaae
on 17/07/2018, 13:55:53 UTC
Please, i have no interest in your projections, I'm more interested in the technology behind the coin you deem your favorite for 2018. So having said that, what is YOUR favorite coin, and what will it do for: technology/blockchain/financial fields?

By 2018 will be a lot of developing developments, including the emergence of new alts. But only EOS is in the spotlight of many people, and makes everyone curious. That's because EOS is experiencing a very fast and sophisticated development, so EOS can achieve a high enough price. So EOS can overtake Litecoin, bitcoin or ethereum.

Re: Why Etherium is stagnant?
by
Biasaae
on 17/07/2018, 13:54:44 UTC
I wonder why Etherium has been stagnant over the past few weeks without any significant rise in price. It became stable which is good. However, it dropped two fold since its maximum achieved in the end of January 2018 when the Bitcoin and majority of altcoins were slumping. I have seen many posts ans articles about the Etherium overpassing Bitcoin this year, but it seems not much to be the case as of now...

This is a good sign that ethereum has no impact on other people's markets, especially bitcoins. Their market wants to stand on its own, and people love it, making it a very promising long-term investment. Do not hesitate to try ethereum, because this is the best coin after bitcoin, at least until now.

What does crypto mean to you - a means to a fast buck or a step into the future.

To me, the presence of crypto signifies a new payment mode that will turn traditional payment mode into digital / virtual payments. I am absolutely convinced that the crypto currency will replace the cash in the future, though not knowing when it will happen, but someday it will happen.

Re: Should I continue to invest?
by

I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?

I agree with some of the comments that say ICO is at risk now. You can focus on the coins you have right now, but I'm not too interested in investing huge sums into ico. I myself am still investing in some ICOs, but I am also observing the development of the project for a very long time. Just follow the progress, and you can think better.

Re: The future of crypto money
by
Biasaae
on 15/07/2018, 18:08:07 UTC
The future of the crypto currency is gradually getting brighter with the number of companies interested in developing it. people from all over the world also know the crypto currency and invest in it, and also the more sophisticated and complete blockcain technology makes people more trust with crypto currency

I think the future of the crypto currency will be very good. In the future we will all be desperately in need of this cryptocurrency for use in various fields. Therefore, it is better if from now on all the elements in this world accept the presence of crypto and jointly develop it for the better.
